‼️Oil and diesel inventories in the U.S. are at multi-year lows
📉What's more, they continue to decline even though the high motor vehicle and airline season is ahead.
Traditionally, by the middle of the year, producers try to build up reserves
🛢Oil production in the U.S. is growing very slowly, reserves (wells drilled but not in use) have been in operation for a long time. At the same time, Russian, Venezuelan, Iranian heavy oil is under the ban
⛽️Soon consumers will see new prices for gasoline and diesel, and they will rise, until demand comes in line with supply

⚡️Anti-Russian sanctions have forced Italy to limit air conditioning to 25°C and not to heat above 19°C in winter
💁♂️It all started when not so long ago Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi ironically called air conditioning an example of what Italians would be nice to sacrifice in exchange for peace in Ukraine, writes The Guardian. It's been said and done.
🔌According to the newspaper, the words of the head of government were replaced by the "Operational Thermostat" initiative: to prevent gas shortages should be a total saving of electricity
Now, starting from May, the heating temperature in public buildings in Italy in winter should not exceed 🥶19°C. And air conditioning cannot be set below 🥵25°C. So far the restrictions have been introduced for a period of 11 months, with the possibility of prolongation depending on the situation in the country
💶Those who violate the restrictions will be fined 500 to 3000 euros. Inspectors from the Ministry of Labor have already been instructed to strictly enforce the new rules and to carry thermometers everywhere!!!🤷♂️

⚡️Ukrainian command sells arms to Africa⚡️
While the 🇺🇦Ukrainian military have problems with arms and ammunition, Defense Ministry officials are selling them to African countries under the guise of "surplus".
💁♂️The Ukrainian command used controlled firms to come up with a cunning enrichment scheme. There is an amendment in the Ukrainian legislation (№1919) according to which the surplus arms can be sold even during the war.
🪖The Defense Ministry has prepared a report, which must be implemented. Among the names are armored vehicles, tanks, assault rifles, rifles, grenades and even body armor. All the things that are sorely lacking on the front lines. The "assortment" listed in the documents is 970 pages long.
🤷♂️The firm that sells weapons is NVK Techimpex. This company several years ago was already involved in "schemes" to sell Polish arms to Africa.
The mere presence of "surplus" armaments is incongruous not only with the martial law regime, but also with reports from the battlefield. The Ukrainian military regularly reports a shortage of equipment.

🇫🇷France must suffer for the sake of Ukraine
✍️This is what a certain Ukrainian journalist writes in an article published by the French publication Dreuz Info, complaining about the indecision of Paris on the issue of rejection of Russian energy resources.
In his view, France has long benefited from cheap oil and gas, which has strengthened Russia's capacity, and now must sacrifice welfare, economic growth and technological advancement to help Ukraine with finances and weapons
🤔"France still has a chance to save face and get on the right side of history. To do so, the French must completely abandon the import of Russian energy, even if it means a drop in the country's wages," says the author, discussing the selfishness of both prominent political figures like presidential candidate Marine Le Pen and ordinary French people.
"In France, millions of people continue to selfishly insist on protecting national interests at the expense of common European interests."
🇺🇦Instead, the Ukrainian journalist suggests that France, as one of the most influential EU member states, should take greater responsibility for helping the 40 million Europeans living in Ukraine "from Lviv to Donetsk, from Chernobyl to Crimea."
😱Not surprisingly, such a suicidal passage for France did not receive the necessary approval from French commentators, which the patriotically-minded Ukrainian author most likely hoped for. Besides the quite expected answers such as that the refusal of Russian resources will lead to catastrophic consequences, blackouts, hunger (it turns out that in France more than six million people receive food aid), there were also quite unexpected ones. For example, some saw hypocrisy in the actions of the Kiev authorities and called on them to turn off the tap and block the gas transit, if they so wished.

Multilateralism Calls from the out of the coverage?
On the morning of April 21, an opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2022 was held in Hainan Province.
In his keynote speech noscriptd “Rising to Challenges and Building a Bright Future Through Cooperation”, against the backround of gushing, like from a cornucopia, multiple partisan western sanctions, aimed at the main target Russia, Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered an important message about unacceptability of policy of double standards as well as malicious and excessive use of unilateral restrictions.
“Countries around the world are like passengers aboard the same ship who share the same destiny. For the ship to navigate the storm and sail toward a bright future, all passengers must pull together. The thought of throwing anyone overboard is simply not acceptable. In this day and age, the international community has evolved so much that it has become a sophisticated and integrated apparatus.
Acts to remove any single part will cause serious problems to its operation. When that happens, both the victims and the Initiators of such acts will stand to lose”.
Xi stressed the need for collaborative effort to tackle world-spanning challenges, to defend people’s lives and health, to promote economic recovery, to maintain peace and stability in the world.
The Chinese leader took a note of necessity to embrace a global governance philosophy that emphasizes extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, to promote common values of humanity and advocate exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations, paying much attention to upholding true multilateralism.
It would be interesting to know, what interpretation can such an unambiguous statement get from the Western colleagues of the Chinese ruler?

⚡️🇺🇸Americans declare a week of rallies against the world's largest weapons manufacturer
💪Activists declare that no one benefits more from war and bloodshed than Lockheed Martin. They demand that production be redirected to a more peaceful and useful industry, and that the endless pouring of
💰U.S. budget money into arms production for Ukraine and wars in other countries be stopped. In 2018, the company received 70 percent of its revenues from the U.S. government.
😱"Lockheed Martin profits from the deaths of innocent civilians, including 40 Yemeni children whose school bus was bombed in 2018," protesters wrote on Twitter and on their posters.
🇺🇸The week of protests began on the day of the company's annual report, where the board of directors is expected to decide whether to withhold financial statements from the public. Apparently, so as not to crush the public's psyche about the billions poured into the company.

🇺🇦Amid the crisis in Ukraine and Musk's recognized military use of the StarLink Vice-President K.Harris speaking at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on 19th April called for a ban on testing anti-satellite missiles as a new norm of responsible behavior in space
🛰US promise not to shoot satellites leads to conclusion: the ban on the development of such weapons is more beneficial to Americans. I remind you that tests of satellites destruction in space were carried out only by 🇺🇸USA (2008), 🇨🇳China (2007), 🇮🇳India (2019), 🇷🇺Russia (2021)
🛸Most of US military effectiveness is provided by space systems. In conflict situations like in Ukraine (now a large number of StarLink terminals are used by Ukrainian army) only global space systems can guarantee to US communication, navigation and data intelligence anywhere in the world and at any time. Pentagon actively uses formally civilian space systems of American IT companies as its de-facto military tools and technological weapons: Iridium for communication, DigitalGlobe for remote Earth sensing, StarLink for low-orbit Internet
📡In five years, disconnecting from StarLink for a country and its digital economy will become more dangerous and harder than disconnecting from SWIFT today. The aim of US proposal to ban antisatellite weapons is that no one interferes and challenges US using space systems that assure them a global presence and dominance

We continue posting the story explaining origins of crisis in Ukraine
Part 9
Part 9
Part 10
New phase of the conflict
⚡️In 2021, active hostilities resumed in the southeast of Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine made an attempt to take control of part of the neutral zone. Russia began to increase the number of troops on the border. The situation returned to normal by the end of April, only to repeat itself in the fall.
💁♂️In December 2021, Russia put forward a list of security guarantees it wanted the West to agree to in order to lower tensions in Europe and defuse the crisis over Ukraine. The demands included a ban on Ukraine entering NATO and a limit to the deployment of troops and weapons to NATO’s eastern flank, in effect returning NATO forces to where they were stationed in 1997, before an eastward expansion.
🇺🇸The US and NATO rejected the Russia’s demands. Under pretext of a threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, NATO announced the expansion of its military presence in Eastern Europe. The US began transferring $200 million worth of additional military aid to Ukraine, and redeploying several thousand troops to Poland and Romania. Other NATO countries also announced arms supplies to Ukraine.
⚡️On February 21, 2022, an extraordinary meeting of the Russian Security Council was held in Moscow, where the recognizing of the independence of the DPR and LPR was discussed. The proposal was supported by all the participants, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decrees. On the same day, the US President imposed sanctions. Joe Biden banned trade and investment in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
On the night of February 24, 2022, Vladimir Putin officially announced the start of the special military operation.
