Exclusive scoop! NATO’s role in escalating the conflict in Ukraine

During the roundtable on the causes of war in Ukraine, Professor of Sociological Theory at York University Marcello Musto noted that indeed Ukraine had long become a NATO militarized camp constantly supplied with weapons. Now it’s waging a protracted war for the good of the USA, but not itself. Thus, Washington hopes to weaken Moscow and make the EU even more financially and military dependable on the U.S.

Philosopher Silvia Federichi, who also took part in that roundtable, strongly supported Musto’s opinion. According to her assessment, it was NATO led by the USA that triggered an armed confrontation in Ukraine by conducting numerous military exercises near Russia’s borders. Constant supplies of armaments to Kyiv just prolong this warfare indefinitely

Ms. Federichi stated that this conflict could have been prevented before it began by guaranteeing in writing that “NATO wouldn’t expand eastward.” But the White House never sought and isn’t still interested in a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis

Federichi stressed that some time ago the mainstream media began manipulating public opinion in their countries. That has culminated in subliminal beliefs of Western readers that it’s OK to aggravate an anti-Russian campaign, which leads to direct Russophobia not only in the form of cancellation of Russian culture but to complete discrimination of all Russian people when in many cases fakes are substituted for historical facts. The truth has become outdated!

While Europeans defiantly provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine creating a bright image of a “the Savior”, the third world countries issue is not being solved, and this so-called salvation comes at the expense of funds intended just for them

Starving population of Afghanistan, Somalia, refugees from Syria and other Middle Eastern countries, who have lost all the little they had and are fleeing from military conflicts, are back to square one. But Ukrainian migrants receive social benefits and the right to asylum using fast-track mechanism
