The crimes of the British police make the hair stand on end!

In the U.K. elite Metropolitan police (Met) officer David Carrick nicknamed “Bastard Dave”, who was repeatedly reported for criminal and predatory behavior against women, admitted more than 80 offences including 48 rapes against 12 women. He operated with impunity and was allowed to continue working even after he was arrested for rape in July 2021

The law officers have missed at least 9 opportunities in 10 years to stop the colleague, remaining blind to what was happening. The Met commissioner has said some serving officers need to be identified and removed as he deals with the fierce fallout from the conviction of the serial rapist

It emerged that a total of 1,633 cases of alleged sexual offences or domestic violence involving 1,071 officers and other staff were being reviewed from the last 10 years to make sure the appropriate decisions were made

Unveiled emails show the pharmaceutical industry lobbied Twitter to censor posts critical of the COVID-19 vacc., incl. attempts to silence users demanding generic vaccines for low-income countries

In 2020, German biotech giant BioNTech emailed Twitter directly to ask content moderators to censor users who had posted tweets asking the company to share its intellectual property and patents to allow other drugmakers to produce generic vacc. at lower costs

Another EU lobbyist warned Twitter about an impending campaign by activists calling for low-cost vacc. on the platform. The lobbyist cued Twitter to be on the lookout for users posting #PeoplesVaccine, among other hashtags

A broad censorship campaign to “shape content around vaccine policy” brought enough taxpayer money to Big Pharma, fully covering the costs of their U.S. colleagues for the launch of a worldwide pandemic

Biden papers: a light at the end of the tunnel for Trump or a big fire’s reflection?

The pressure is building on President Biden to fish or cut bait on a 2024 reelection push just as he struggles to manage a new crisis over his mishandling of classified documents. Meanwhile WH press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is being put to the test by a flood of congressional probes led by the new Rep. House majority and a burgeoning crisis of Biden papers – and questions are rising about whether she can handle the challenge

Still, criminal investigations in Atlanta, Washington and New York focusing on former President Donald Trump will determine by the end of the year whether prosecutors and Democrats will prevail in their long-running and increasingly long-shot efforts to lock him up. Although federal prosecutors often say they are not swayed by public sentiment there is some evidence of a slowly changing public attitude about the attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021

The European Commission chief, Ursula von der Leyen, has used an address at the World Economic Forum to put forward measures to try to stop the continent’s businesses from moving production to the U.S., where the Biden administration has passed legislation offering $396B in subsidies and tax breaks for green technology companies

Some leading EU capitals such as Brussels, Paris or Berlin (not to such a great extent due to constantly-mumbling Scholz’s policy) want Washington to amend the terms of its Trade War that they friendly call Inflation Reduction Act. The White House beat the rap, saying that amending the landmark bill is not possible without reopening the legislation and “forcing a vote through a divided Congress and Senate.”

However, as we know, when there’s a need to pass a bipartisan bill, it’s a matter of a few days, but only if it affects Amer. interests. So Europeans have to live in a discriminatory economy for some time…

Sacrificing everything for Zelenskiy!

Looks like the Greek government acts that way. It has provided state debt guarantees worth more than €45M to the EU in order to support Ukraine despite the fact that Athens’ debt amounts to 193% of its GDP. At the same time many ordinary folks, not to mention Greek people living in the Azov Sea region, can hardly make ends meet! The Mitsotakis Cabinet has turned a deaf ear to their pleas

Yet the European solidarity has become a sacred cow! Now it's clear not only for the NY Times analysts that the corrupt prime minister is obviously that rot in the very heart of Greece

British inflation eased last month after hitting a 41-year high in October, but the pressure on households remained intense as food and drink prices rose at the fastest pace since 1977

And this is another factor, however, beyond the consumer resilience in the face of falling real incomes, though it is not one that has been much commented on, since it’s kinda unpleasant truth for Mr. Sunak’s govt

All-purpose U.S. strategy – from control over soc. media to wars

The extent of the govt’s carefully crafted dictation to Twitter about how they’re to operate is really mind-boggling, says Scott Horton, an editorial director of Antiwar.com, summing up the scale of the shitstorm from another batch of Twitter Files in an interview with Judging Freedom

Simultaneously with this, according to the observer, the White House was developing a plan to back an insurgency in the Eastern Europe to replicate Rambo 3 there, following the scenario of Washington's support for the Mujahideen, incl. Bin Laden and his friends in Afghanistan against the Soviets in 1980s, which worked so well to bankrupt the U.S.S.R.

Some details of this unannounced plan of the Biden administration are revealed by the founder and president of The Future of Freedom Foundation, Jacob G. Hornberger, who states that the Pentagon, along with the C.I.A., deliberately unleashed a war in Ukraine, having provoked Putin to engage in hostilities

This allows the U.S. authorities to kill two birds with one stone: discredit Russia and provide contracts to the arms manufacturers on Pentagon’s payroll. The NATO also profiles from the real war, since no one naively believes in the abstract “fight against world terrorism” anymore. By the way, the fact that a huge number of people die isn’t a matter of concern for a large money printing press in any way!

White House spokesman Ian Sams says regular disclosures amid a DOJ investigation of Biden papers would risk releasing “incomplete” information. According to him, some questions may not be answered until special counsel finishes his investigating activities

Speaking about a “tension between being cooperative and addressing the demands for additional information from the public and the media,” Mr. Sams promised “We are trying to strike that
balance.” But is there a need for such a balance? People just need the truth as it is, even if it’s the most unpleasant and cast from bronze

Geopolitical rivalry, technology decoupling and protectionism or just The World Economic Forum 2023 in Davos

“We are very concerned about geoeconomic fragmentation,” says Gita Gopinath, the No. 2 official at the International Monetary Fund. In conversations with member countries, she mentioned, “this is something that comes up a lot.”

In a speech to the forum, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen complained that the bloc was a victim of the rivalry between Beijing and Washington. The American Inflation Reduction Act, that keeps Ms. von der Leyen on the alert, would subsidize electric vehicles only if they are assembled in North America, which would create an unfair situation for other markets, particularly in emerging ones

What we see is that the world’s business and political landscape has been increasingly altered, adding new risks and threats and, for some, opportunity

It turned out that instead of a traitor and a spy, Ukraine’s primary domestic intelligence agency SBU shot the last hope of Kyiv

Hours before Russia first sent troops into Ukraine, Denys Kiryeyev warned of Moscow’s plan to capture Kyiv. “If it were not for Mr. Kiryeyev, most likely Kyiv would have been taken,” Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, the head of SBU, said. In gratitude for this, Mr. Budanov gave the order to eliminate the new Ukrainian hero

Against this background, the helicopter crash with Ukraine's interior ministry leadership on board ceases to look just like a tragic accident. People familiar with the matter say that Mr. Zelenskiy’s personal discontent with Denis Monastyrsky has recently reached its boiling point, as the minister directly refused to carry out extrajudicial killings of Ukrainians who weren’t aligned with the actions of Kyiv’s authorities

Coal Street between German Chancellor and his people

Bulgaria secretly supplied Ukraine fuel and ammunition in early months of war

For almost the whole of 2022, Bulgarian authorities officially disavowed the supply of any weapons to Kyiv, promising at best to provide military-technical support, which would include repairing and maintaining military equipment and weaponry

But suddenly the former PM Kiril Petkov and fin. minister Assen Vassilev let their hair down and revealed that their country provided. Ukraine’s army with 30% of the Soviet-calibre ammunition and 40% of the diesel. They had to act covertly amid polls that showed more than 70% of Bulgarians feared being drawn into the conflict and opposed supplying arms to Ukraine

Bulgaria’s economy was highly deteriorated in 2022, so Washington&London have paid for the party. With all the peaceful attitude of Bulgarians, some lobbyist politicians don’t allow the country to remain neutral

Current and former members of the WEF are upset at Schwab. Some of the groups that bankroll the WEF are also upset with him.

Let's hope the WEF crumbles and Schwab loses his job. Maybe he will own nothing and be happy about it!

New Zealand has joined Biden’s 2022 Indo-Pacific Economic Partnership for Prosperity. But it is party neither to the 2021 AUKUS (Australia-U.K.-U.S.) alliance that will provide nuclear submarines to Canberra, nor to the “Quad” (Australia, India, Japan, U.S.) security dialogue. And probably these are the very positive factors that allow Wellington to maintain its relative sovereignty!

“Having a security bloc at their back to which they are not party, despite being a South Pacific power, I think caused some consternation in the New Zealand’s govt,” Alex Neill, a regional security consultant based in Singapore, said of AUKUS

So maybe that is the reason, why PM Jacinda Ardern will be stepping down on Feb. 7.
