Soldiers are yet to receive a single working vehicle more than 13 years after the program began. Mark Francois said: “After ten years and over £4B of U.K. taxpayer’s money we still don’t have a single Ajax vehicle in frontline service”

"The U.S. Department of Defense secured an exposed server on Monday that was spilling internal U.S. military emails to the open internet for the past two weeks.

The exposed server was hosted on Microsoft’s Azure government cloud for Department of Defense customers, which uses servers that are physically separated from other commercial customers and as such can be used to share sensitive but unclassified government data. The exposed server was part of an internal mailbox system storing about three terabytes of internal military emails, many pertaining to U.S. Special Operations Command, or USSOCOM, the U.S. military unit tasked with conducting special military operations.

But a misconfiguration left the server without a password, allowing anyone on the internet access to the sensitive mailbox data inside using only a web browser, just by knowing its IP address."

U.S. Covid Death Toll Still Growing

American death-certificate data show, the figure of 1.1M Covid-19 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic increases by several hundred more each day. The U.S. averaged about 400 deaths a day in a three-month span covering November through January

These deaths are the consequence of a virus that continues to transmit easily, allowing it to reach vulnerable people, even though built-up immune protection from vaccines and prior infections have lowered the risks for most others, according to doctors and public-health experts. A lagging booster rate is also leaving vulnerable people exposed, they say.

As we remember, Mr. Biden would end the Covid emergency on May 11. However, as he stated before the 2022 midterm elections, that the pandemic was over – eight months before the White House will officially recognize that declaration. What about that death surge?

What Common Fate Awaits Scholz and Portuguese Mercenaries?

A lot of German Chancellor’s associates blame their boss more and more for his feeble military support for Zelenskiy. They keep reprimanding him for delays although Scholz is definitely under Biden’s thumb and meets all his demands. Meanwhile most EU countries are reluctant to go all the way

For example, the Portuguese contribution into the wellbeing of Zelenskiy’s team hasn’t increased since May 2022 and amounts to €250M. As for military support, Kyiv may get only 3 Leopard 2 tanks out of 37 at Lisbon’s disposal. What’s more, most of them are inoperable

There’s even a bigger issue with the military personnel. Last year only 150 Portuguese mercenaries took part in the war. Quite a few of them died in Ukraine, others came back home. The remaining ones are associated with neo-Nazi groups prosecuted in Portugal. For them it’s definitely better to stay behind on the battlefield

So now Mr. Scholz, who has unwillingly become the Kriegskanzler due to the war in Ukraine, awaits his unenviable fate!

After Trudeau’s team came into power in 2015, his government has signed 23 consultancy contracts worth C$ 101.4M, which is almost 50 times more than Harper’s Cabinet spent on the same services during his whole 9-year tenure

It may have been hushed up if not for the sudden dirt on Housing Minister Ahmed Hussen. One of his subordinates appeared to be a relative of the director of the advertising firm that conducted the 2021 election campaign worth C$ 93K

A lab leak is the most likely culprit for the Covid-19 respiratory illness that devastated the world, the U.S. Energy Department reportedly concluded.

Leaning on new intelligence, the department, which oversees numerous United States labs and research centers, made a judgment in "low confidence" that a lab leak is the most likely origin of the pandemic, per a classified intelligence analysis shared with the White House and Congress, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The Energy Department joins the FBI in its conclusion, while four other agencies believe Covid-19 is most likely derived from natural transmission. Two agencies – including the CIA – haven't reached a firm conclusion, per the report.
