✍️The mainstream media have sadly reported that Russia has doubled its fossil fuel revenues to EU countries since the start of the special operation, even though sales volumes have declined
💸According to the findings of the Center for Energy and Clean Air Research CREA, the Russian Federation received about 62 billion euros from oil, gas and coal exports in two months. For the EU, imports amounted to 44 billion euros in two months, compared to 140 billion euros for the whole of last year
⛽️From this, journalists conclude that Russia continues to benefit from its "dead grip on Europe's energy supply, even as EU authorities desperately try to prevent it from using energy resources for its own purposes
🇷🇺"Interfere," by the way, by actively switching to the terms of payment for Russian gas in rubles. But for some reason, Western journalists have not written about this

⚡️Leasing a black hole of debt
🇺🇸The US House of Representatives has approved a bill that will allow to supply Ukraine with weapons under an accelerated procedure, the Lend-Lease program. 417 members of the Lower House of the American Congress voted for this decision, 10 against.
In early April, the bill was supported by the Senate, now it is to be signed by POTUS Biden.
An actively spreading in the media space opinion is that the implementation of this initiative will definitely lead Ukraine to a debt pit, and next generations of Ukrainians will have to be paying for it.🤷♂️

Does an Empire built on numerous humanity crimes now pigeonhole Russia? Part 1
The policy of open but unsubstantiated accusations against Russia in connection with the military operation in Ukraine is gathering pace in the British media landscape. At the same time, such words as “genocide”, “mass murder”, “massacre” and “barbarism”, which have clear definition and a very specific scope, are increasingly and recklessly being used in actual publications and news. The facts supporting these accusations are not provided, though
We’ll try to exercise a bit objectivity, not giving arbitrarily harsh assessments of the “activities” of the British colonialists, pointing just to a few facts from history. After all, as Salman Rushdie fairly noted in his novel the Satanic Verses, “The trouble with the English, is that they don’t know their history, because so much of it happened overseas”
During a peaceful demonstration against British colonial rule in Amritsar on April 13, 1919, which took place in Jallianwala Park on the Vaisakhi (a celebration of spring harvest), soldiers under the command of Brigadier General Reginald Dyer surrounded the protesters and opened fire on civilians without any warning. The soldiers kept firing until they ran out of ammo. Most of those rioters were women and children, so there was no direct threat to the Rule of Great Britain

The Times published a caricature of Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The drawing shows British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss telling Johnson that the war in Ukraine could last for years, to which the prime minister crosses his fingers for good luck
At the same time, Johnson is holding a newspaper listing his scandals during his premiership: partygate (the head of Britain threw parties in the midst of lockdown) and rising utility bills
Thus, the publication links London's bellicose rhetoric on Ukraine with an attempt to divert attention from internal problems while solving external ones

"We've been living too cheaply and well for the last 40 years" - European authorities are trying to convince people that high are normal
"Will anyone tell Europe that the era of cheap living is over?" - British journalists urge the authorities to stop lying and say bluntly that the good life is over and that high prices are forever. "In supermarkets across Europe, food prices are rising almost every week," the publication writes.
Public anger is rising, inflation at 7 percent is eating into family budgets instantly, and Europeans have started paying 44 percent more for electricity. Exports have reached exorbitant prices - the cost of wheat (and with it bread and livestock) has risen by 64.6%, oil is in short supply at 78%. 73% of world exports came from Russia and Ukraine
What do the angry people hear from the authorities? "Energy has been too cheap for the last 40 years!" said Assistant Vice President of the EU Commission Diederik Sams. He added that the EU benefited from cheap Russian resources and "created enormous wealth". But he did not specify for whom
For the European Commission, the current prices also seem to be the norm. Its members believe that high prices are a long overdue and inevitable reckoning with reality. EU authorities say that the previous life was at the expense of the environment and depended on Russian imports.
At the same time, the EU government acknowledges that social unrest in Europe is inevitable. People's anger cannot be appeased because of the "small political space," Sams explained, apparently referring again to the manipulation of public opinion rather than to real action to end the crisis

⚡️The Italian newspaper La Stampa, which had published a fake front page story about the Tochka U missile strike on Donetsk, passing it off as a strike on Kyiv, began to publish interesting notes
🚀Among the notes of the Italian newspaper, which 1.5 months ago passed off a photo of the Tochka U missile strike on Donetsk as an attack on Kiev, materials containing the opposite of the Western rhetoric about the conflict in Ukraine began to appear
💁♂️For example, in one of the last issues, the publication interviewed journalist Nadana Fridrikhson, who is accused by local authorities of spying for Russia. She advised the deputies making such statements to "leave their cozy offices" and visit Donbas themselves to talk to the locals and find out what is really going on
👉The same article also mentions the tragedy in Bucha - the journalist stressed that before accusing Russia of "atrocities" in a barefaced manner, a thorough investigation should be conducted: "Attempts to accuse Russia are cynical. And when Claudio Locatelli retells a CNN article on an Italian show that the Russian military allegedly raped women, it is not journalism, it is a lie. We need an international investigation of the tragedy in Bucha
📰The journalist also told the publication about the crimes of the AFU and Azov (banned in Russia) in Mariupol, which bombed residential neighborhoods and kept citizens out of the city, noting that many locals are persecuted by the Ukrainian security services for their pro-Russian views: "When you tell us that the residents of Mariupol hate Russia, ask yourself: Why do refugees come to Russia? 🤷♂️

A NATO task force near the borders of Ukraine and Belarus - why is it needed? Is it really a conventional peacekeeping mission?
In the light of the latest information about the aspirations of 🇵🇱Poland and other NATO members several questions arise 🤔
Firstly, what contingent is now formed on the eastern borders of the bloc, and secondly, for what purpose all these forces are being accumulated?
It is impossible to estimate precisely the grouping of NATO countries, drawn to the borders of 🇧🇾Belarus, 🇺🇦Ukraine, 🇲🇩Moldova and 🇷🇺Russia, having only information from open sources
However, from what is known, we can conclude that the total number of troops is 50,000-100,000 people. This includes units moved by 🇵🇱Poland, and the 🇺🇸American contingent, and units of different NATO countries, moved as part of the exercises in the Baltics.
There is also information about a serious 🇷🇴Romanian grouping in the Moldovan direction. Also, as we wrote earlier, combat aviation is being moved to Europe. In the shortest possible time the NATO contingent may be doubled in size
The final strategy of NATO in this matter is not clear at the moment, but we can consider several options.
Firstly, it may be done for the banal intimidation of 🇷🇺Russia and an attempt to pressure the course of special operations in 🇺🇦Ukraine, and secondly, in the West they perfectly understand that Ukraine as a country no longer exists and they see its future according to the principle of occupation sectors
And the third option is the scariest, but least likely: NATO has decided to go all the way and, if the lend-lease and hybrid warfare do not stop the Russians, regular units of Western countries will step in. This, of course, is a hundred percent threat of nuclear weapons. It looks utopian, but anything is possible in 2022🤷♂️

Does an Empire built on numerous humanity crimes now pigeonhole Russia? Part 2
According to the UK officials, 379 people were killed and 1,100 injured. Based on the Indian National Congress, 1,000 people were killed and 1,500 were injured. No matter how many victims there really were, London did not recognize this massacre as a colonial crime. As for Brigadier General Dyer, he was even hailed as a hero at home and donations of 26,000 pounds sterling (about 900 thousans dollars in nowadays money) were collected for him
Since then and until Johnson's recent visit, the Indian issue clearly haunted the British rulers. In 1943, Churchill ordered to provide Great Britain and British soldiers, as well as other countries lying in the sphere of interests of the Albion, such as Greece, with grain at the expense of Indian reserves. Due to the seizure of huge cache, the Bengal region was engulfed by a large-scale famine, which claimed, according to various estimates, from 1 million to 29 million lives
After increasing resistance, he openly declared that he “hates Indians, as they are beastly people with a beastly religion.” When the famine began, some British officials enquired to send food to the region to help the starving population, but Churchill roughly refused and answered the request with the phrase: “The famine was their own fault for breeding like rabbits.” When the Delhi government reported to London that people were dying (thinking Churchill was unaware of it), the Prime Minister only asked, “Why hasn’t Gandhi died yet?”

Germany’s one-eighty
Against the background of Ukrainian military conflict, the Chancellor of 🇩🇪Germany paid a landmark call to Tokyo on Thursday where he met with the 🇯🇵Japanese Prime Minister.
Olaf Scholz and Fumio Kishida have agreed that “the two export-oriented nations are intending to act more strongly together against aggressors and step up for common values and free trade.”
🇩🇪Bundeskanzler stressed purposefulness of his first official visit to the Indo-Pacific specifically to Tokyo in this job. This is a clear signal of a pivotal reversal of Berlin’s policy in the region towards Japan from multiple attempts made earlier by Merkel’s Cabinet to deepen cooperation with 🇨🇳Beijing.
💁♂️Members of the ruling “traffic light coalition” are also unanimous on this issue. They even go so far as to threaten China with economic sanctions, emphasizing that “any attempt to circumvent sanctions imposed by the Western community of states against Russia or even to supply weapons to Moscow will entail economic and personal restrictions.” It is noteworthily that a temporarily opposing faction CDU/CSU in German Parliament is also taking a much more harder line in China policy than before
👉The unfolding situation has found an instant response in Beijing. Politburo of the Communist Party of China stated on Friday that the country’s economy is facing increasing uncertainty and the challenges posed by the Corona- and Ukraine crises are scaling up. Therefore, macroeconomic adjustments would be made and advanced measures to support the economy would be taken. It is proposed that the development of infrastructure projects, ranging from waterways and railways to facilities for cloud computing, should be jumpstarted “on full blast”
