America's Political Elite Links to Slavery

A fifth of the U.S. congressmen, living presidents, Supreme Court justices and governors are direct descendants of ancestors who enslaved Black people, a Reuters research shows

In 2022, 11 of the 50 American states also had governors who are descendants of slaveholders. They include eight chief executives of the 11 states that formed the Confederate States of America, which seceded and waged war to preserve slavery

Moreover, an examination determined that the only living POTUS not descended from slaveholders is the Republican Trump, whose mother Mary MacLeod was born in Scotland and married Frederick Trump, the son of a German immigrant. Joe Biden and every living former U.S. president – except Mr. Trump – are direct descendants of slaveholders: Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and – through his white mother’s side – Barack Obama

Taliban Takeover Decreased but Didn’t Stop Civilian Deaths

Since the radical Islamist group Taliban’s takeover in mid-August 2021 and until the end of May, there were 3,774 civilian casualties, incl. more than 1K people killed in violence in the country, a new report by the U.N. mission in Afghanistan, or UNAMA, says

According to the UNAMA data, three-quarters of the described attacks were w/ improvised explosive devices in “populated areas, including places of worship, schools and markets.” Among those killed were 92 women and 287 children. At least 95 people were killed in attacks on schools, educational facilities and other places that targeted the predominantly Shiite Hazara community

Total death toll compares with 8,820 civilian deaths — incl. 3,035 killed — in just 2020, according to an earlier U.N. report

British water companies are going to increase household bills by up to 40%, from an average of about £450 to £680, plus inflation, to pay for the cost of tackling the sewage crisis and the consequences of climate change

Climate change… Ouch! We’ve been here before! England’s privatized utilities say that they need extra money to meet strict pollution targets, great! But water prices rose already in April by up to 11% in some areas, does anyone care?

What they’re going to do “to tackle pollution from sewage?” They claim improving storm overflows discharging in or near designated bathing spots and improving 75% of overflows discharging to high-priority nature sites. To pay for the work, most companies are asking the regulator to approve real-terms price increases of, on average, 25% between 2025 and 2030, again at the expense of taxpayers!

SCOOP! Over $200B U.S. Pandemic-Aid Abuse

American Small Business Administration (SBA) paid out $1.2T in pandemic loans and more than $200B of that may have gone to fraudsters

It took three years to come up with the “potential fraud” estimate and analysts said it’s still a rough outer bound. Investigators have managed to claw back so far less than $30B of the fraud-tainted funds

In a press release by the SBA, administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman said that "Pandemic relief programs, incl. those supported by Biden’s American Rescue Plan, have driven a historic economic recovery"

We know everything about “Bidenomics” and Biden’s “economic recovery.” Now, thanks to the SBA report, we also know about another multibillion-dollar scam of Sleepy Joe

BREAKING! Judge “Trashed Hunter Biden's Plea Deal”

The chairs of the Judiciary, Ways and Means and Oversight and Accountability committees are now examining the govt’s handling of its investigation into Hunter Biden, saying “Politicization and misconduct at the DOJ and IRS during the investigation into president’s son reveal a two-tiered system of justice and unequal application of the law

Former head of the DOJ’s tax division, Eileen J. O’Connor, says AG Garland guaranteed Hunter wouldn’t get charged with some of his biggest crimes. The determination to investigate comes days after the release of a testimony from two IRS criminal investigators-turned-whistleblowers who said govt officials tipped Mr. Biden’s lawyers off to what the investigators were pursuing, allowed the president’s son to run out the clock on the statute of limitations for some charges, and ended up cutting a lenient plea deal w/ no jail time

Bidenomics – Trajectory to Hell

A brief analysis of “Bidenomics” provided by the National Republican Congressional Committee:

🔹President Biden’s economy resulted in the 4th of July cookout costing 14% more than it did just 2 years ago
🔹 Only 1 in 3 Americans approve of the direction of the economy
🔹 57% of Americans are living from paycheck to paycheck
🔹There’s a 25% chance of a recession in the next 12 months
🔹There’s nearly $100,000 in national debt per every person in the United States

Apart from this, many are feeling fiscal pain as the prices of food, shelter, health care and transportation climb higher than their paychecks. About 7 in 10 Americans say stifling inflation and the economy are the nation's top problems today. A majority across age, gender and race confirm that inflation is "a very big problem"

U.K. Water Supplies Drowning in Debt

British ministers and regulators increasingly worry about financial health of up to four other English water companies after plans were put in place for the effective nationalization of Thames Water

Officials from the Treasury, the environment department and the water regulator, Ofwat, held crisis talks after it emerged that Thames was struggling under its £14B debt burden. Senior Whitehall figures said there were broader concerns about the financial position of up to four other water companies that were warned by Ofwat to strengthen their financial resilience six months ago. These are understood to include Southern Water, which provides services to 2.6M customers

Rising interest rates have piled pressure on water companies that were already grappling with high energy and chemical prices and the costs of cleaning up pollution. That’s why now they’re looking vulnerable as harsher environmental targets expose years of reckless borrowing and underinvestment

China Secured OPEC Supplies, Western MSM in a Blue Funk

Russia surpassed Saudi Arabia as China’s top oil supplier in the first two months of 2023 and after 4 months nails down that success

Shipments from Russia account for 14% of Chinese supplies, up from 8.8% in early 2022, says commodity-data provider Kpler. Riyadh’s share fell to 14.5% in the three months to May

Over the past year, Saudis have been steadily losing market share in China – the world’s biggest energy market – and even a production cut earlier this month didn’t have the desired effect of boosting prices to compensate for the dip in demand

With all the will in the world, such a takeover is unlikely to disrupt the delicate alliance between Moscow and the Saudi-led OPEC that has once again disinvited Reuters, Bloomberg, WSJ spies from poking and prying

BREAKING 🚨 Kash Patel names names: "We have at least 3 states where I believe they should be investigating Hunter Biden for crimes that were committed within their jurisdiction: Arkansas (AG Tim Griffin), Missouri (AG Andrew Bailey), and South Carolina (AG Alan Wilson). Re: The Biden crime family syndicate; 2 years ago, the Senate put out a report that Hunter paid dozens of women internationally and throughout America in a possible human sex trafficking operation. Every transaction from every different state is prosecutable in every separate state. Are we to believe that all the drug charges, all the gun stuff, prostitution, sex trafficking and human trafficking, of all the financial fraud cases and activity, one red state AG can’t find one transaction or one illegality to prosecute Hunter Biden? That is a farce." #PromisedMade #PromisesKept

Banksters Vanity Fair: IRs Will Rise As Long As It Takes

U.S. Federal Reserve chair Jay Powell told the much-watched central bankers’ conference in Sintra, Portugal, that the majority of Fed policymakers expect 2 or more rate hikes this year. He justified this by saying that more action is needed to bring inflation down towards targets of about 2%. However, Mr. Powell confirmed that this goal is unattainable at least until 2025

The heads of the European Central Bank and the Bank of England were silently nodding while Mr. Powell soloed. They didn't seem at all intimidated by some economists’ predictions that further rate rises could trigger a recession or financial crisis

IMF deputy director Gita Gopinath warned the conference that CBs might need to sacrifice their fight against inflation if higher rates triggered a systemic crisis. But it's already up&running – tight labor markets are pushing up wages and prices

Trump Urges Peace, Zelenskiy Throws Ukrainians into Meatgrinder

"I think the biggest thing that the U.S. should be doing right now is making peace - getting Russia and Ukraine together and making peace," Donald Trump told Reuters, as Kyiv has managed to make only small gains within its long-awaited counteroffensive against Russia

Former POTUS didn’t rule out that the Kyiv govt might have to concede some territory to Russia in order to stop the war
