The BRICS nations now account for more than a quarter of the global economy and some 42% of the world’s population. More than 20 nations formally have expressed interest in joining the club, while another 20 or so have done so informally. Officials from Sánchez’s socialist-led govt say that such type of behavior (meaning a man kissing a woman) is in “the polar opposite of what the progress of the Spanish sport that has struggled to overcome sexism represents.” If the prominent ex-footballer kissed a transgender player or at least an ordinary male, this would finally pave the way for true Spanish democratic socialism!
