Her lawyer noted that for just bookmarking a post about the war “this ailing and partially deaf elderly woman was convicted on the basis of a new hastily passed law about justifying and legitimizing Russia’s activities against Ukraine”

According to the last year’s stats at least 176 Ukrainians were convicted of such “illegal actions.” Most of them were just unemployed or on pension and prior had been law-abiding citizens. Now in Ukraine half of about 700 convictions for collaboration w/ the enemy have been passed on “wrong likes&reposts” despite rather high costs of such investigations (around $650 each)

Italian Democratic Party and the National Association of the Italian Partisans have presented two legislative proposals called «For an Anti-Fascist Country» aimed at combating manifestations and propaganda of fascism in the country

Among the proposals is also a ban on naming streets and buildings after fascist exponents or former supporters of the Mussolini regime, as well as introducing a complete ban on the display of symbols and attributes characteristic of Nazi ideology, incl. gestures and “souvenir” products

Italian MPs say they consider it unacceptable that some prominent members of the ruling center-right coalition, most notably Georgia Meloni's Brothers of Italy, are continuing to be influenced by a dangerous ideology. German people are beginning to have second thoughts about the Ukrainian refugees who have poured into the country in great numbers creating lots of problems for the locals cuz the Scholz’s cabinet’s failed to accommodate these migrants in the right way

Many German cities&towns, especially in the east of the country, are overcrowded w/ Ukrainian refugees, which forces the local authorities to build new shelters and reconstruct office buildings at the expense of the local people. In Berlin the authorities ran out of communal accommodation in early 2023, so the Ukrainians may stay for several months at the temporary refugee center located at Tegel ex-airport, reports a human rights platform

Furthermore, the number of criminal offenses committed by Ukrainians has soared. In 2022 there were recorded 4K such cases in Germany, but this year Ukrainian refugees already exceeded this number by midsummer!
