Germany's New Party - a Voice to Frustrated Nation
More than 250K people applied for asylum in Germany b/n January and September 2023, which is a shocking increase by more than 80% compared to the same period last year, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees says
Amid the growing dissatisfaction of the German society w/ the Scholz’s cabinet migration policy, Sarah Wagenknecht, one of Germany’s most prominent leftwing politicians who has questioned the green transition and blamed the West for provoking Russia to war w/ Ukraine, announced that she would form her own party, throwing up yet another wild card and challenging the political mainstream
Her new Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance, for Reason and Justice (BSW), combines traditional leftwing ideas such as a tax on wealth, massive public investments in education and opposition to NATO with a rightwing rejection of irregular immigration. BSW is also to take part in the European parliament elections next June

Biden to Send Money Anywhere but to Americans!
The U.S. citizens are to receive only $13.6B out of $105B promised by Sleepy Joe as part of his generous “National Security Package”
U.S. Congress has passed four Ukraine spending packages so far totaling $130B — which is to say, what is historically about a year’s worth of Ukrainian GDP. A great deal of this aid is aimed at funding the Ukrainian pension system – not even its self-defense!
American taxpayers have been sending Kyiv money far out of proportion to the required support w/ no way of knowing how the funding is being used, George Landrith, the president and C.E.O. of Frontiers of Freedom, says. Simply sending ever more money w/o focusing it on actually helping Ukraine defend itself is not a serious strategy or a serious policy; if anything, it will continue to prolong the war, he concludes

The Department of Defense on Monday admitted it is now having to send back to Israel some of the weapons it sent from its stocks there to Europe for Ukraine, while insisting it could supply both.
“We withdrew 155 [shells] from the stockpile in Israel for our forces in [European Command] and now we are sending that back to Israel for their use,” a senior defense official told reporters during Pentagon press conference.

Joe Biden said that he and Pope Francis agree on the plan for addressing the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, after their conversation over the weekend
“The Pope and I are on the same page,” Biden said at an event touting his economic agenda. “I laid out to him what the game plan was, how we thought we should be providing the kind of assistance to Israel they needed and the pope was across-the-board supportive”
This is rather strange, cuz up to this point, despite the age of the pontiff, there was no such impression that he and Sleepy Joe could even be “on the same page” of Biden’s medical record. Let’s write it off to Biden's next tall tale!

Israeli Authorities Promise Supporting Business, Long Crisis for the People
The prospect of Israel’s ground op in Gaza is hitting its economy that prospered in spite of a decades-long conflict w/ the Palestinians, while the Palestinian enclaves have long been blighted by poverty and unemployment
Israel’s finance minister Bezalel Smotrich has announced a plan to help businesses cover their fixed costs, as well as financial assistance for workers unable to get to work. The CB said last week it would sell up to $30B of dollar reserves to shore up the shekel
Mr. Smotrich said that as a result of the aid plans, the govt’s deficit could rise to 3.5% this year, more than the 1.1% it had previously targeted. Economists are predicting a much bigger shortfall next year

Europe was the primary destination for U.S. LNG cross border sales in 2022 and retained its upper hand this year, accounting for 62% of total exports. The Western MSM has largely presented this as a saving grace to get rid of Russian pipeline gas amid war in Ukraine. However, here we have a certain equivocation, since the EU bought 21.6 mcm of Russia’s LNG b/n January and July of this year, which is almost the same as in 2022 but is a 40% surge compared to the same period in 2021
The existing situation was best described by the Swatch Group C.E.O. Nick Hayek, who harshly criticized the anti-Russian sanctions citing the hypocrisy of the West, which despite the restrictions imposed continues to conduct "behind-the-scenes business": “The net result is that the U.S. benefits by providing its companies w/ access to the European gas market”
