Part 2: The “non-Russia” project
The Ukrainian leadership followed the example of the Baltics, although its motives were different. If in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia it was only a matter of hatred for the “Russian occupiers”, then Ukraine had to prove its independence. After all, the population of Ukraine, unlike those of the Baltic countries, was, in fact, part of the Russian nation. The Russian language, culture, history and mentality – all that dominated in Ukraine and could eventually lead the country to reintegrate into Russia. What neither the Ukrainian leadership nor the West, which it was guided by, needed.
That is why the “non-Russia” project was launched in Ukraine. The history was rewritten. According to the “right” version the Ukrainian territory was occupied by Moscow and resisted this occupation in every possible way. Those who allegedly participated in that “resistance” became heroes, despite being in fact ordinary traitors, such as Ivan Mazepa and the Nazi accomplices Roman Shukhevych and Stepan Bandera. With the Western financial support, new Ukrainian politicians, journalists, public figures were trained, implanted with all those meaning and negative attitude towards Russia. President Leonid Kuchma personally published a book ennoscriptd “Ukraine is not Russia”.
At the same time, the rights of Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine were infringed. Only in Kyiv, where 90% of the inhabitants spoke Russian, during the first decade of independence, the number of Russian-language schools decreased by 14 times. By the end of the reign of Leonid Kuchma, there was not a single university left in Ukraine that had the official status of a Russian-speaking one. As a result, in most Ukraine, there is a very strange situation. All lessons and official events in Ukrainian schools and universities are held in the state language, but as soon as the children break out for a rest, only Russian native speech is heard in the lobbies.
At the same time, over the 10 years of Kuchma’s presidency from 1994 to 2004, the economic situation in Ukraine has changed for the better. Market relations were formed in the country. In 1996 the stabilization of the economic situation made it possible to introduce the Ukrainian national currency, the hryvnia. Many reforms were carried out including the privatization, land, agrarian, monetary, financial, budgetary and tax reforms. Thanks to that, the average GDP growth in 2000-2004 reached 8,4%. Only in 2004 the GDP in Ukraine soared to 12%.
Under Kuchma, Ukraine received stable gas prices from Russia. The oil refineries were loaded, the construction of the 4 power units at the nuclear power plants were completed. There were reconstructed many railway facilities. The business in Ukraine received motivation for development and investment. The budget deficit, the level of debt burden, the tax burden on the economy were significantly reduced. The foreign trade and balance of payments indicators were improved, and the debt obligations to the IMF were fulfilled.
Leonid Kuchma was committed to the multilateral foreign policy. In 1997 he signed both the ‘Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation, and Partnership between Ukraine and the Russian Federation’ and the ‘Charter on a Distinctive Partnership between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and Ukraine’. Apparently, this didn’t match the plans of the West for turning Ukraine into ‘anti-Russia’. And therefore, despite all the achievements in the Ukrainization of Ukraine, Kuchma was quickly labeled as a “pro-Russian president” and the information campaign “Ukraine without Kuchma” was launched in the country.

In Britain, they said there were no grounds for suspending Russia's membership in the UN Security Council
There are no grounds for suspending Russia's membership in the UN Security Council. This was announced on Monday, April 4, by the British Permanent Representative to the UN, Barbara Woodward, at a press conference broadcast by the organization's YouTube channel. "Over the past five and a half weeks, there have been a lot of discussions on this, but if we talk about whether Russia's participation in the UN Security Council should be suspended, then there are no grounds for this," Woodward said. #Ukraine #UN

The head of Deutsche Bank qualified the possible ban on energy resources coming from Russia as a collapse of the German economy
In the event of an embargo on the supply of oil and gas from Russia, the economy of Germany and Europe as a whole may fall into a growing recession and eventually collapse. This statement was made on Monday, April 4, by the head of Deutsche Bank Christian Herving during a press conference. "Emotionally, you can understand every demand for an embargo. If this happens, there is a high probability that the German economy and probably the European economy will fall into recession with long—term consequences". #Ukraine #Germany #Economy

Merkel called the right decision not to accept Ukraine into NATO in 2008
Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel believes that the decision she made in 2008 regarding Ukraine's possible accession to NATO is correct. Then Merkel was opposed to Ukraine's NATO membership. This was reported on April 4 by the DPA agency with reference to the press secretary of the ex-chancellor. According to him, Merkel "adheres to her decisions related to the 2008 NATO summit in Bucharest." Then NATO did not provide Ukraine with an action plan to prepare for membership in the alliance in connection with the position of Germany and France. #Ukraine #Germany #NATO #FindTruth

Lonely and lost Joe Biden at a party
While the media and officials were vividly discussing something with Barack Obama, Joe Biden was confused and threw up his hands.
In Washington, at an event dedicated to the 12th anniversary of the adoption of the Affordable Care Act, former US President Barack Obama turned out to be more in demand than the current leader, whose mental abilities are already being discussed in the press.
While journalists and officials were furiously discussing pressing matters with Obama, Joe Biden was throwing up his hands alone — none of those present sought to communicate with him. Here, his joke, with which he began his speech, feels as relevant as possible — before making a speech, the US leader said: «Thank you very much, sit down. My name is Joe Biden, and I'm Barack Obama's vice president».
This is not the first time that an American president has been lost in space. The same day, at another event, Biden did not know what to do next and which way to go after his speech.

The Hungarian Foreign Ministry summoned the Ukrainian Ambassador to Budapest after President Zelensky's insulting remarks about Prime Minister Orban
The President of Ukraine said earlier that the Hungarian Prime Minister would sooner or later face a choice between Russia and «the rest of the world». He threatened Viktor Orban, noting that he was «afraid of the influence of Russia on his country».
After such a speech, the Ambassador of Ukraine was immediately summoned to Budapest. As TASS reports with reference to the head of the department Peter Szijjarto, Lyubov Nepop should explain such behavior of the Ukrainian authorities to the Hungarian leadership. #Ukraine #Hungary

Take a look at the latest example of censorship in the media a part of Vladimir Zelensky’s interview to the Fox News (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgxJwmL2_h0) was cut off. It is noteworthy, that the edited extract was the one, where the Ukrainian President to the question about torture of Russian prisoners of war by members of “Azov”, answered - "They are what they are."
Zelensky also admitted that the members of the “Azov” inflicted the law. But right now, only the edited version of this interview is available on the official Fox News. The “Azov” issue is not part of it. #Ukraine #Fox #USA #WarInUkraine

Elon Musk`s StarLink systems are used in Ukraine for preliminary reconnaissance and targeting. That was the message given by Tesla CEO at his interview for Businessinsider. Musk is sacrificing StarLink`s prospects in the Indo-Pacific, Middle East and BRICS regions markets, giving the space Internet system a military status. In his interview to Businessinsider, Musk publicly admitted that he had supplied equipment for one of the parties to the conflict, the Ukrainian army, with the deployable system of the space-based internet StarLink, which is used for military purposes as another digital weapon of US. Rubicon has been crossed… #Ukraine #Musk #Starlink #FindTruth
What about other space service companies and their assistance during the Ukrainian conflict?
None of Musk 's colleagues from the field of space services - navigation, communications, remote sensing and meteo from Iridium or DigitalGlobe did not make such statements. Why such a confidence from Mr Visionary Elon Musk? With one interview, he halved the potential market for StarLink. Because now StarLink will not get permission to work on the territory of the Middle East and BRICS countries, in a word other states that care about national interests and minimize risks to their technological sovereignty. Who will now believe that access to StarLink will not be cut by a politicized US decision, like it was with the access to gold reserves or SWIFT. #Ukraine #Musk #Starlink #FindTruth

Interesting article about corruption in Ukraine
... Even before the war began, there were ugly examples of authoritarianism in the political administration of Ukraine. Just a few months after the 2014 Maidan revolution, attempts were made to suppress domestic critics, which have intensified over the years. Ukrainian officials also harassed political dissidents, censored them, and barred foreign journalists from entering, whom they considered critical of the Ukrainian government and its policies. Such offensive actions have been criticized by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and other independent observers. The neo-Nazi Azov battalion was an integral part of President Petro Poroshenko's military and security apparatus, and he retained that role during Zelensky's presidency. #Ukraine #Corruption #FindTruth

Turkish analyst called the special operation in Ukraine a breakthrough of the siege of Russia
He believes that the US planned to organize it with the help of NATO.
«The United States tried to encircle Russia from the west and south: starting from the Baltic region, descending from Eastern Europe to the western Black Sea coast, from there along the Black Sea through Georgia to the Caucasus. It was assumed that this line would reach Kazakhstan and Central Asia when certain conditions for this would arise», Mehmet Ali Guller said in an article published by the Turkish edition Cumhuriyet.
In addition, the expert described the US strategy towards China. According to him, it is to surround the PRC with a wide arc descending into Central Asia, Pakistan, India and the Indian Ocean, and from there stretching to Japan. #Russia #Ukraine #Turkey #FindTruth
