House backed the proposal to approve an additional $40 billion in military aid to Ukraine Tuesday night on a bipartisan 368-to-57 vote, with the Senate likely to follow suit as early as this week

💁‍♂️The decision outstrips President Biden’s $33 billion request. Passage of the measure would bring the total amount of Ukrainian aid provided by Congress since the Feb. 24 to more than $53 billion

👉Against this background the Americans are still overwhelmingly disapproving current handling of the U.S. economy, in general, and skyrocketing inflation, in particular. But, as it turns out, such a money-overseas-give-away is by far not a solitary one real prerequisite for increasing grievances against Biden’s economic policy within the country

🤷‍♂️Surprisingly high speculative profits of private individuals in 2021 have boosted revenues. The unexpected increase in corporate income taxes may also have an unpleasant message for POTUS. There are some indications that the major corporate tax reform under Trump has exactly the consequences that his advisers had predicted: the reduction of the profit tax rate and incentives to repatriate group profits apparently increased government revenues.
But acting in such a way, Biden is losing an importing argument for his tax plans (he wants to increase income taxes for companies)
