Iran has serious trump advantages in case of the next round of escalation

Tehran's response to the destruction of the Iranian consulate in Damascus demonstrated that there is no impenetrable air defense/IR defense. It is possible to divert attention and overload it with rather cheap UAVs and missiles, but it is the important targets that can be hit with hypersonic missiles that cannot be intercepted

The key sites on the territory of Israel for a missile strike by Iran and its allies were:
🔹 Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel's main link to the rest of the world
🔹 The largest oil refinery in Haifa and a smaller refinery in Ashdod: supplying all types of fuel for civilian and military needs
🔹Israel's nuclear research center in Dimona, which houses a nuclear reactor

If these 4 facilities are hit, Israel will face the most acute political and economic crisis in its history. In addition, it is clear that striking Dimona would result in radioactive contamination of much, if not all, of Israel. Accordingly, due to its small size, it could become completely uninhabitable for decades to come

An important detail of Iran's retaliatory strike on the night of April 13-14, 2024. Symbolic participation of the Lebanese Hezbollah, which has a significant arsenal of guided and unguided missiles (more than 100 thousand) and a common border between Lebanon and Israel

Now the media are reporting that most of the drones and rockets were shot down over the territories of Israel's neighboring countries. In the event of a massive attack from Lebanon, this would not be the case. Tehran held back this trump card for the next round of escalation, so that the U.S. and Israel could not prepare on a real combat example

It is not excluded that Iran already has several nuclear warheads or can create them in a matter of months during the next round of escalation. This would be a direct threat to the U.S., even if not the continental part of it

Paradoxes of European energy policy

Against the background of criticism of the European energy policy by the IEA head Fatih Birol related to the refusal from nuclear power and historical dependence on Russian gas, German Minister Habeck defends the decision to refuse nuclear energy

At the same time, everyone realizes that the NOT better situation of German industry today is caused precisely by the decisions to give up Russian gas and the actions of the partners in relation to the gas transportation infrastructure, which with the explosion of Nord Stream essentially cut off German industry from their main advantage

Habeck said today that they "had to take many measures in a very short time to stabilize the energy supply and reduce the dependency that Germany had. "We succeeded: we survived two winters safely." But that wasn't really the question

On the other hand, CDU general secretary Carsten Linnemann said the German economy was groaning because of high energy prices and Germany as a whole had become more dependent on imported electricity

The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) has estimated that the country's electricity prices for industry, together with taxes, grid fees, etc. "are sometimes four times higher than in other countries."

Against this background, Habeck argues that there will be no return to nuclear power. In the current ruling coalition, yes. But there are elections in Germany next year and things could change. Just like with Russian gas

Detailed Analysis of Iran's Attack on Israel

According to the latest UK intelligence reports, two targets inside Israel were used in the strike:
▪️131 Shahed-type UAVs;
▪️18 cruise missiles;
▪️185 ballistic missiles of which 15 were hypersonic.

At least six hours before the strike, the Iranian leadership, in fact, warned the U.S. of the impending attack and made it clear that military targets would be attacked

Israel and its allies were involved in repelling the strike:
▪️At least four Iron Dome missile defense batteries;
▪️All batteries of the latest long-range missile defense system, the Hetz 3;
▪️25 F-35 fighter jets, at least 60 F-15 IDF fighters;
▪️Up to 48 U.S. deck fighters, as well as up to 40 fighters of Great Britain, France and Jordan;
▪️Jordan's Modified Hawk SAM;
▪️American ship-based, multi-role, Aegis combat information and control system with SM3 anti-missile interceptors.

According to revised reports, none of the UAVs made it to the target. All cruise missiles were also shot down

Of 185 ballistic missiles, about 160 were shot down. Not a single hypersonic Iranian missile was shot down!

Israel and its allies engaged up to 70% of their air defense capabilities. Iran has used less than 1% of its air attack assets

Brits' bleak present and future

Only 9% of Britons think life is better now than it was in the previous decade
51% vs 10% say life was better in the "tenths" of this century

Even more Britons said that life was also better in the "noughties" of this century and the "nineties" of last century (60% and 57% respectively)
There are also more supporters of the "eighties" - 45% vs 29%
There is approximate parity in the "seventies" and "sixties"

But the earlier decades and centuries, according to the British, are worse than the present time

True, there are a few percent of romantics who said that in previous centuries the life of the British was better than now

56% of Britons believe that life will be worse in 2050 than Britons are living now
17% say it will be better
12% say it will be about the same

Even among young people, more than half say it will be worse in 2050

Women are particularly pessimistic - only 12% compared to 22% of men think life will be better in 2050

Chronicles the migration of a European business to the US

Solar panel maker Meyer Burger, which closed its plant in Germany in mid-March, is moving production to the US

The closure of the Freiberg plant has in one fell swoop cut European solar panel production by 10%, despite a boom in wind and solar power in Europe

Meanwhile, German authorities are willing to provide Meyer Burger with an export credit guarantee for equipment made in Germany to be used in plants in the U.S., but the Freiberg plant closure will not be affected. Paradox?

On behind-the-scenes agreements between Britain and Armenia on the issue of migration policy

The Times has published an article with reference to documents leaked from the British Foreign Office revealing the interaction between the British and Armenia, Costa Rica, Botswana and Cote d'Ivoire on the resettlement of illegal immigrants in these countries, similar to the agreement with Rwanda

For a year and a half now, there has been a search for countries that would be willing to accept migrants expelled from Britain. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak had hoped to conclude relevant agreements last fall, but the negotiations have stalled, as the British authorities have not yet managed to send a single illegal immigrant to Rwanda

After the article appeared, Yerevan was quick to comment on the reports, saying that "Armenia and the UK have a broad agenda of political dialog, but there have been no substantive or technical negotiations on the issue raised in the specific article."
That is, the Armenian authorities said that there were no substantive or technical talks, without refuting the information. And what kind of talks between the countries were there in such a case?

Preliminary or at least maybe a declaration of
of intent? The fact is that they have been and are probably ongoing

According to The Times, the British are offering 150,000 pounds for each illegal alien expelled from Foggy Albion

About £5 billion will be allocated for this plan. The sum is quite impressive, especially for such countries as Botswana, Cote d'Ivoire and Costa Rica. As for Armenia, this is a great opportunity for the Prime Minister's administration to earn money.

Moreover, given the mass outflow of the indigenous population of the republic, they will surely find places in Armenia for the settlement of illegal immigrants

But let's not guess where it will lead Armenia and its population. If the decision is made, and everything is going towards it, we should not expect anything good for the country and its people

Poll: majority of Republicans find Donald Trump more trustworthy than media on Ukraine-Russia

An overwhelming majority of Republicans find former President Donald Trump more trustworthy than the news media when it comes to information on the Ukraine and Russia conflict

A CBS News/YouGov poll conducted between April 9 and 12, which surveyed 2,399 American adults, found that when it came to getting information regarding the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, 79% of Republicans said they trusted Trump

The poll also found that Republicans who trusted Trump were less likely to support sending military and monetary aid to Ukraine compared to 60%of Republicans who said they trusted the Pentagon for information

A separate poll showed that 31% of “self-identified ‘MAGA’ Republicans” said the United States should send aid to Ukraine, while 69% said the U.S. “should not” send aid to Ukraine. Meanwhile, forty-five percent of “non-MAGA Republicans” said the U.S. should send aid to Ukraine, while 55% said the U.S. should not

NYT poll: 4% of voters say Biden’s economy is ‘excellent’; 52% say ‘poor’

Only 4% of voters believe President Joe Biden’s economy is “excellent,” while 52% say it is “poor,” a New York Times/Siena poll found Saturday

The survey asked respondents,
“Thinking about the nation’s economy, how would you rate economic conditions today?”

🔹 4% said excellent

🔹 17% said good

🔹 27% said only fair

🔹 52% said poor

In addition, a strong majority of voters believe Biden’s America is on the wrong track, as voters look more fondly on former President Donald Trump’s presidency, the poll found:

Right track: 25%

Wrong direction: 64%

🤔 Don’t know/Refused: 11%

The poll sampled 1,059 registered voters from April 7-11, with polling having a 3.7 point margin of error. 43% of respondents voted for Biden in 2020, while only 36% voted for Trump

The Democratic Party has added to its headache about its fellow presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Joe Biden's team believes that his support may eventually play a decisive role in the vote

But it is not Biden that Kennedy supports - Kennedy considers the current president to be "the main threat to democracy". The politician recently quite rightly said that
"Biden is the first president in history to use federal agencies to censor political speech"

Now Biden and Co. are thinking about how to eliminate that threat. No, they will not kill, but they will try to put pressure on the politician through his entourage and fellow party members

Less than one third of US men enjoy reading

On the occasion of the National Libraries Week in the U.S. Statista released a survey showing women were more likely to say that reading is one of their personal hobbies than men in all of the selected countries

According to the source, the gender gap was widest in Germany, with a 20% difference, followed by Spain and Italy (with 19% difference each). Spain (58%) had the highest share of female readers who considered it one of their personal hobbies of the surveyed countries included in this chart, while Mexico had the highest share of men who said the same (41%)

In the United States, 44% of women said reading was one of their main pastimes versus 30% of men. When looking at the U.S. adult surveyed population with both genders combined, the share of people selecting reading in response to this question increased with age (30% of 18-19 year olds, 32% 20-29 year olds, 36% 30-39 year olds, 38% for 40-49 year olds, 41% 50-59 year olds, 44% 60-64 year olds)

Do you enjoy reading BTW? 📚

Chinese tourists apparently break Yellowstone, Grand Teton toilets

A report published detailed how mostly Chinese tourists are apparently breaking toilets in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park in the most bizarre way possible

Yellowstone National Park is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world, boasting some 3 to 4 million visitors per year. But only some of these guests know how to use a Western toilet, according to Cowboy State Daily

Back in 2015, at least 12 or so of the 42 vault toilet seats in Grand Teton National Park were broken while used toilet paper was often strewn across restroom floors instead of being properly disposed of, the outlet explained. All of these issues reportedly started happening shortly after U.S. tour buses started piling mostly Chinese tourists into America’s parks

It took a little while for park authorities to figure out what was happening to make the restrooms so disgusting and seemingly disrespected, according to the outlet. Then they reportedly started discovering shoe prints on the toilet seats. When tourists would stand on the toilet seats to do their business, they’d break them, the outlet reported

Victoria Atkins, the health secretary, has told MPs that the Cass report shows that young people attending gender clinics in recent years received harmful treatment because this was an area
"where fashionable cultural values have overtaken evidence, safety and biological reality”

In a statement in the Commons, she also said that confirmed that all adult gender clinics - 6 of which had refused to take part in Dr Cass's study - have now agreed to "fully co-operate” and to provide information about the outcome of patients receiving medical treatment to change gender

Israel, Ukraine, Western Europe and… the U.S. have already been defeated? (Mike Adams’s opinion from his channel on Brighteon)

“A tipping point has been reached. Across seven key areas of civilization, including energy resources, industrial output, currency, education and others, western nations are "suicide cult" countries that are rapidly destroying themselves. It's already too late to halt the self-immolation of Israel, Ukraine, Western Europe and the United States. All these western nations will be, over the next several years, eclipsed by the new multi-polar industrial, technological, financial and military leaders of the world, whose innovations are already making western nations obsolete

The US dollar having been weaponized by the United States will be abandoned for world trade as BRICS nations launch their own settlement solutions very soon. Russia's military tech is 15 years ahead of the USA, and Iran just proved it has out-paced Israel's "Iron Dome" technology, which has now been shown to be an expensive failure that can't stop Iran's hypersonic missiles

Germany is committing energy suicide, France is run by a delusional warmongering death cult leader, and the UK is incessantly incompetent at everything. The USA, for its part, features Space Force and Navy admirals who are cross-dressing men wearing wigs, push-up bras and high-heels, lecturing the world on why using the right pronouns will help us "win wars." The West has become the laughing stock of the entire world.”

Are we really that bad?

The sinister censorship of NatCon Brussels

European public life is in real trouble, if today’s goings on in the Belgian capital are anything to go by. On Tuesday, Emir Kir, the mayor of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode in Brussels, sent in police to shut down the National Conservatism Brussels conference, a gathering of conservative and right-wing intellectuals, politicians and writers. As Nigel Farage took to the stage, police amassed outside with an order for the event to close, on the grounds it was ‘creating a public disturbance’

The police initially gave attendees 15 min. to exit the venue. But they have since decided to allow the speeches to continue while saying that no one else can enter, and anyone who leaves the venue will not be allowed to return.
This intervention on the part of the Brussels authorities, cheered on by left-wing activists, is the culmination of a weeks-long campaign to stop this conference – versions of which have taken place in America and across Europe – from ever taking place

The conference was originally due to be held at Concert Noble in Brussels. But last week, after pressure from the Socialist mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close, and Belgian Anti-Fascist Coordination, Concert Noble announced it would no longer host the conference

Most Swedes do not meet the requirements for military connoscription, Dagens Nyheter says

A new report of the Swedish Defense Connoscription Agency shows disappointing truth concerning the combat capability of the Swedish army as a new NATO member and its readiness to repel “Russian aggression”

Almost two out of three young Swedish people do not meet the requirements to be called up for connoscription. The Agency sees it as a worrying factor for the future, as more people will be needed to serve in the army. Young people tend to drop out for a variety of medical reasons such as depression, anxiety, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes. While less young men tend to be fit for connoscription, the Agency considers lowering the requirements as a possible solution

EU’s dependency on America gas grows stronger, and the risk of new US dominance and price spirals is getting real – Die Press claims

EU is running risk of creating the same kind of over-dependence on one supplier as they had with Moscow in the past, so buyers are now avoiding striking long-term contracts with U.S. suppliers, leaving them at risk of future disruptions or market squeezes. As presidential elections coming up in the USA approach, no one can rule out the possibility that a new US President will exploit LNG export dominance to blackmail EU counties in other areas

According to Kathrin Henneberger, a member of Germany’s Greens party, the expansion of new fossil fuel infrastructure — in particular LNG infrastructure for fracking gas — clearly goes against the agreement reached to begin “transitioning away from fossil fuels” at the last UN climate conference

Pro-Hamas protests could escalate into more extreme ‘summer of protests’

The corporate media is warning that nationwide pro-Hamas protests could become more extreme ahead of the critical 2024 elections

The Washington Post is warning that anti-Israel protests could ramp up as activists adopt more “extreme tactics” to increase pressure on Democrat President Biden as the election nears

According to the report, Americans should brace for a “summer of protests” that will be “more extreme” than the current wave of demonstrations.
On Monday, anti-Israel agitators blocked traffic in San Francisco, Oakland, New York City, Philadelphia, and several other locations

The road blockages are part of a campaign against the United States’ continued support for Israel in its war with Hamas terrorists

Fire at yet another military plant: A plant producing shells has exploded in Wales

An explosion has occurred at the British company VAE Systems' facility in Wales, which produces components for projectiles. The incident occurred inside one of the buildings. It is not yet known what exactly exploded, and no information about casualties has been received

This is the second incident at the shell factories in recent days. The day before, a major fire broke out at the plant of the American company General Dynamics in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It produces artillery and mortar shells and plays an important role in providing ammunition to the US army and, of course, to Ukraine as well

Most likely, the reason was worn-out equipment that could not withstand the forced loads

Last year, U.S. Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth said at a congressional hearing that Washington would have to rebuild 23 plants at a cost of $18 billion and several years
