🌎77% of investment fund managers believe stagflation is the most likely scenario for the global economy

⚡️Inflated expectations – in trigger mode, for now

POLITICO recently reported that officials across the 🇺🇦Ukrainian government have pleaded with the 🇺🇸U.S. for months to send the Multiple Launch Rocket System, or MLRS. But three people familiar with the issue say the Ukrainians are concerned that the White House is holding back over worries the weapon could not be used to launch strikes inside Russia, thereby expanding and prolonging the conflict

💁‍♂️“There was momentum on it at Ramstein, but seems to have cooled,” said one congressional staffer with knowledge of discussions last month in 🇩🇪Germany, where 40 nations gathered to discuss the next steps in arming 🇺🇦Ukraine. “There’s definitely a frustration building” in Kyiv over these new caveats being placed on military aid, this person said

👉In the meantime, 🇩🇪Germany has not approved the export of heavy weapons requested by Kiev. Instead, the supply of Gepard anti-aircraft tanks is announced, for which ammunition is being missed.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba “directly” told German Defense Minister Lambrecht that it is “not okay to announce something, knowing it doesn’t exist. Consequently, you have to finally admit that the topic is off the table and you are focusing on another project.” Ah… again this really smashing and from the position of strength performed Ukrainian diplomacy…

🤔Good words without deeds are rushes and reeds – it’s a short summary of the Western promises to Ukraine, as for now. Statistically confirmed, by the way. According to the latest research by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, Berlin supports Kiev with 0.064% of GDP. This puts Germany in 14th place out of the 38 countries compared – between Luxembourg and Sweden

⚡️Left-wing Democrats snub Biden’s pitch for the center ground⚡️

💁‍♂️It is obviously not an easy task for the U.S. President Biden to nurture careful plans and play well-calibrated strategy overseas.
Ukraine is a fur piece. And indeed the people there completely differ from the homies. But he seems not even having tried to learn home gambling

👉A strong performance by left-wing Democrats in primary elections came as a snub to POTUS: he and his inner circle have been trying to convince his party that centrist candidates have a better chance of winning in November’s midterm elections

🤔Instead, Democratic voters chose “progressives” for the vacant US Senate seats in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, seen as key to control of the chamber, while also rejecting a rare endorsement by Biden of a well-funded, sitting centrist congressman in Oregon

👨‍🦳Donald Trump’s grip on the Republican Party was also questioned, with his endorsements suffering setbacks, among them the country’s youngest congressman, Madison Cawthorn, 26. Trump had pleaded with voters to give him a second chance, despite numerous scandals that have dogged him

🤔The most closely watched race on Tuesday, for the Republican Senate nomination in Pennsylvania, went down to the wire with Mehmet Oz, Trump’s pick, holding a slim head in the final stages over David McCormick, a hedge fund millionaire who has avoided parroting the former president’s unproven claims of 2020 election fraud

🌏 $100 billion - Russia will get $100 billion from Europe for gas

▪️In 2022, Russia will receive a record $100 billion from Europe for gas supplies amid a surge in gas prices caused by Western sanctions against Russia, French Echos reported, citing Citi analysts

▪️ $200 million Russia receives daily from Europe for gas, according to calculations by European fuel market specialist Thierry Bros, "despite sanctions, loud statements and promises of an embargo," the French Echos

▪️ Europe will pay Russia twice as much this year as it did last year, when gas prices already broke historic records, analysts say

But why should Britain support Ukraine? Part 4

Part 3

Britain has no choice but to reassemble the EU for itself, judge for yourselves:

Canada is a U.S. economic agglomeration, it can't be preserved, only swapped for more expensive concessions. Perhaps the British have already traded it for something + a united front in Ukraine as a surrender

Australia is a resource base of Asia, yes, it is very dependent on Britain, but the distance from London to Sydney is 17000 km in a straight line, so Britain can not organize a single market with it, only get some nibbles in the financial sector

UAE has evidently got out of its influence and is pursuing an independent policy, which is clearly seen not only by the sheikhs' statements, but also by the actions of the UAE economic authorities in relation to Russia

Qatar is the Central Administrative District of Moscow in terms of population and economy, of course it is a lot, but not essential for salvation

Turkey, as the leader of the Turkic world, has an inflation rate of 120% for 5 months of 2022, an economy that is saved from default by the support of the EBRD, headquartered in London. Has a bunch of military conflicts, dependence on Russia for food and gas and dependence on the EU for exports. It can be a cool battering ram like Ukraine, but it can't be the savior of the British economy

Hong Kong. Well, the British lost it definitively quite a long time ago. I realized this when I noticed about 6-7 years ago that on the new Hong Kong dollar bills the issuing bank had changed. It was Bank of China instead of HSBC

Inflation is Problem #1

▪️52% - an absolute majority - of Americans said inflation is the most important problem facing the United States. It has reached a 40-year high in the U.S.

▪️8-9th place (15%) was shared by the problem of the coronovirus and the problem of all foreign conflicts, combined in the poll with the problem of terrorism in one position

▪️It is clear enough that if the Ukrainian conflict was a separate issue, it would not have made it into the top 10 issues of concern to Americans

⚡️"Haven't his policies affected our energy supply?" - Senator Josh Hawley blames Biden for rising U.S. gas prices⚡️

🇺🇸Senator Josh Hawley urged Americans to understand who is really to blame for rising U.S. energy prices. Speaking with the Secretary of Energy, the senator said that blaming Putin is "a load of crap

✍️Josh Hawley pointed out that in January 2021, the average price per gallon in his state was $2.00 and 7 cents. In August 2021, long before the special operation in Ukraine began, the price went up by more than 30%, and has been rising ever since. He then went on to list the decisions made by U.S. Biden after he took office as president

💁‍♂️"He ordered federal agencies to eliminate all support for fossil fuels. He imposed new regulations on oil, gas and methane emissions. That's only for the first few days. Are you telling me that this hasn't had any effect on our energy supply?" said Hawley, calling for reliance on facts, not people's opinions

⚡️War is only a tool. Part 5⚡️

🇬🇧Britain apart from the world is an island of only 66 million people whose lives are totally dependent on imports

📊Right now its main business is 10% of world finance, which will not survive after all the monetary stimulus of the last 10 years is injected into the real sector

💷Without a global financial market, Britain would be, at best, the Czech Republic

💁‍♂️It needs real markets, not virtual ones. Its goal is not stock market trade, but control of EU economies

🤔Losing the war to Russia does not solve this problem. What will Britain do with a war-winning Ukraine that already has no economy and a debt that is bigger than Britain's own reserves?

‼️Asian tour – it’s not all that simple!‼️

🇩🇪On Thursday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz warned in a TV interview about a nuclear strike. Previously, US representatives, from the CIA as well, had speculated that Russian President Putin might be able to use tactical, i.e. smaller nuclear weapons. The ease with which such a scenario is being discussed in Germany and the United States is alarming

💁‍♂️Against this background, POTUS’ current six-day tour to Asia looks notedly provocative. Having been on a trip since yesterday, he is due to meet Yook Suk-yeol, the new South Korean President, and Fumio Kishide, Japan’s PM. Their talks will touch on trade, increasing resilience in the global supply chain, the explosive spread of Covid-19 in North Korea and growing concerns about its nuclear program. Jake Sullivan, the US national security adviser, said that North Korea could be planning “long-range missile tests or a nuclear test, or frankly both.”

🇺🇸Washington till has more than 28,500 troops stationed in South Korea, along with tanks, helicopters, anti-missile batteries and other conventional weapons. Biden who will visit some of the troops, is ready to make “adjustments” to the US military posture in the region, and South Korea’s hawkish new president is eager to strengthen ties.

👨‍🦳In China Biden was accused of “openly making provocations” and “sabotaging the existing bilateral relations and multilateralism based on co-operation and development in the region”, adding: “We hope Biden will eventually prove the public opinion wrong with his actual words and deeds. Otherwise, it will be remembered in history as a ‘disappointing, regrettable visit of destruction.’”

🇨🇳Beijing has condemned the first meeting between the Dalai Lama and a senior US official in the current administration, accusing Washington of meddling in its domestic affairs. ‼️Toll road round the back of own sanctions‼️

🇺🇸While the US is talking with the European Union about new sanctions against Moscow and ways to limit global energy price increases that could be caused by an EU-proposed embargo on Russian oil, looking at additional options like setting a tariff on imports of Russian oil, these 27 countries has been sending Gazprom $200 million every day, the analysts of Citi Bank reported. Thus, Russia this year may receive a record $100 billion from the sale of gas to Europeans amid a strong runup in energy prices. Projected revenue will be almost twice as much as last year

📊The prohibitively expensive energy also fueled prices for commercial products in April. The producers charged their customers 33.5% higher prices than a year earlier, as German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reported on Friday. This was the highest year-on-year change. Compared to March, prices rose by 2.8% in April

🛢Energy sources still have shown the highest increases, which were 87.3% more expensive that a year ago. For example, power plants had to pay four times as much (+307%) for natural gas as in April 2021

‼️Explained: Global Monkeypox Outbreak From Australia, to Europe & Americas‼️

▪️What is monkeypox?

A virus similar to 'normal' pox [smallpox] that generally runs its course within a month. Incubation is 7-21 days. Strains from West and Central Africa identified. It's thought around 1 in 10 of those who are infected in Africa die.

▪️Human Transmission

Close contact. More cases detected in gay men, but experts say too early to confirm intercourse main cause. Originated from contact, bites or eating infected animals.

▪️Symptoms

Pustules, lesions and blisters on the skin, head, back/muscle ache, and fever. Smallpox vaccines and antiviral treatments are already available and have been cleared to treat monkeypox - but efficacy doubts.

▪️Mystery Spread

Experts are still uncertain precisely how monkeypox is spread. Some studies suggest via mixed bodily fluids, pox secretion, or via nose and mouth contact. So why is it spreading rapidly across the world?
