⚡️Ukrainian refugees are not awaited in Europe⚡️
The Western press seems to be gradually opening its eyes to the real events that are taking place in Ukraine now.
First, the journalists of the American edition of The New York Times confirmed the authenticity of the video on which the Nazis of the Armed Forces of Ukraine mock and shoot Russian prisoners of war in the Kiev region, and now they write that many Ukrainians are returning home from Europe, where they hoped to find a new home for themselves and their families. One of the frequent reasons is that European citizens did not expect a large influx of Ukrainians, so cordiality and hospitality quickly changed to shock and indifference.
"Nobody needs us. Nobody needs teachers. Knowledge of the Czech language is mandatory. They would be ready to take me as a cleaner, but even then I would have to find a place to live," the NYT quotes the words of a Ukrainian refugee who returned back.

US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to visit Japan this weekend to discuss bilateral policy coordination in response to Ukrainian crisis. Sources say Pelosi will be accompanied by a group of Congresspersons in order to put some pressure on rather reserved Tokyo due to its reluctance to show a coordinated sanction approach towards Russia and first of all to impose a BAN on Russian hydrocarbons. Farewell, Japan's long-term attempts to diversify its sources of Gulf hydrocarbons... Or not ? You can watch video on the site:

Nancy Pelosi calls for US ban on Russian oil over Ukraine invasion
Nancy Pelosi has backed a bipartisan call for the United States to ban Russian oil from coming into the country after Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. The speaker of the House of Representatives made the comments at a press conference on Thursday, amid…
The Economist Intelligence Unit has measured government actions globally since the war broke out, and countries’ historical ties with Russia, to divide the world into three broad categories: governments that are West-leaning, Russia-leaning and neutral amid the conflict. A total of 131 countries are against Russia, according to the analysis. But together the countries opposing Russia account for only 36% of the world’s population. Around two-thirds of people live in countries whose governments are either neutral or Russian-leaning. China and India, which together account for around one-third of the global population, skew the results. The Chinese government, classified as Russia-leaning by the EIU, has avoided direct condemnation of Mr Putin’s actions and is unlikely to stand with the West. India’s government, classed as neutral, has increased its engagement with the Russian government, especially through discounted oil prices. About 30% of the global population live in the 28 countries whose governments are classed by the EIU as leaning towards Russia. As well as China, these include such populous places as Pakistan and Ethiopia. For some, such as Eritrea and Syria, Russia is a key ally. Thirty-two governments have remained neutral, including Bangladesh’s, Brazil’s and India’s. Several developing countries see neutrality as the default foreign-policy choice, a legacy of the non-aligned movement formed during the cold war as a counterbalance against the world’s polarization into two blocs.

Chinese companies start payments in yuan for Russian oil & coal - reports
First yuan-bought coal cargoes are set to arrive in China this month, followed by Russian crude in May, as the two nations maintain their energy trade.
These will be the first commodity shipments paid for in yuan since the US and Europe penalized Russia and cut several of its banks off from the international financial system, according to traders. (Bloomberg)
Moscow is also offering rupee-ruble payments to Indian oil buyers, while Saudi Arabia is in talks with Beijing to price some of its crude in yuan, as the two nations try to curtail dollar’s dominance in global trade. #China #USA #Russia

Royal Navy hit by major fuel theft – media
More than £250,000 ($327,000) of diesel was reportedly stolen from a Royal Navy warship, making it one of the UK’s biggest fuel thefts. (The Sun)
The “siphoned” diesel was reportedly intended for HMS Bulwark, which is one of two amphibious assault ships in the Royal Navy. “They must have needed one hell of a jerrycan. The fuel that was taken was supposed to power the ship as it undergoes a refit,” a source told the paper.
The scheme was only uncovered after a suspicious guard decided to check one of the trucks leaving the base. An urgent investigation has been launched over the incident. #UK #FindTruth

"I'm sick of it, to be honest" — European Parliament Deputy sharply criticized sanctions against Russia
MEP from Ireland Claire Daly spoke out against anti-Russian sanctions at a meeting in Strasbourg - she said that peace is not established at gunpoint, but is achieved through diplomacy.
"You can dismiss the history of your continent, but we share it with Russia. History has taught us that sanctions do not stop military conflicts. They don't bring peace. They make the people suffer, not the oligarchs, the people, the people of Russia, the people of Europe", Daly was indignant.
The MEP called on European countries to abandon pumping Ukraine with weapons, stressing that all this is an inevitable path to new victims among the military and civilians: "It will not save lives, the more weapons you pump into Ukraine, the more it will be delayed. I'm sick of it, to be honest." #EU #Ukraine #Russia #FindTruth

According to Reuters EU's first ban on any import of energy/ban on Russian coal since the start of the "special operation" in Ukraine was pushed back to mid-August. Opposition came mostly from Germany, the EU's main importer of Russian coal.
The EU ban is expected to boost global imports of non-Russian coal, with prices going up, although non-EU importers may benefit of lower prices for Russian coal. But there is simply no one to replace Russian coal at the moment. Poland declares that it will mine coal itself, but they have a different brand of coal, firstly, and secondly, extremely high cost. The EU may try to switch to gas wherever it can, but the situation with gas is also known, there are good prices, so that will be unacceptable. There remains an option — this is Australia, but Australia's main shipment goes to Asia, and they will not be able to quickly increase volumes either. South Africa, there's another problem, it's a bottleneck, the railway that goes to the port. To expand this bottleneck quickly, it will not be possible to increase volumes there, neither. The third option is Colombia, but now there are strikes, everything is closed, and it will not be possible to restore production, increase volumes.

"For the children" — dozens of people were killed by a Ukrainian rocket with such a message, more than a hundred were injured.
Ukrainian security forces fired at a passenger station on the territory of the DPR. 30 civilians were killed and more than 100 wounded. The strike on the railway station was a provocation on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — said the representative of the People's Militia of the DPR Basurin. According to him, the Ukrainian authorities first announced the evacuation from Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, and then committed a provocation with a Tochka-U missile.
The same blows as in Kramatorsk, the AFU inflicted on the bus station in Lugansk in the summer, 2014. There were also dozens of dead and wounded. The tactic is same: to prevent civilians from leaving the combat zone. #Ukraine #WarInUkraine #FindTruth

One day before traveling to Taiwan, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi fell ill with the coronavirus. Such a peculiar cancellation of the visit occurred after the threats of the Chinese Foreign Ministry to take decisive measures to protect the national sovereignty of the PRC. The United States continues to push China to war, but does not want the acute phase to occur right now, while the war in Ukraine lasts. This will distract the attention of the world community. In this case, it would be necessary to provide military assistance on two fronts simultaneously, both Ukraine and Taiwan

The West admits sadly that Russia resisted sanctions
Russia has resisted sanctions, even vodka and gasoline have not risen in price in the country.
"Wounded Bear: How is the Russian economy developing in the face of unprecedented sanctions? Better than you might think", The influential British publication The Economist sadly admits that – "if any economy could come close to coping with the fact that it is cut off from the world, it is the Russian economy."
"Is the West’s strategy still going to plan? The chaos in Russian markets seems to have subsided. Since its low in early March the rouble has jumped, and is now approaching its pre-war level (see chart). The main benchmark of Russian stocks plunged by a third, but has since recovered a chunk of its losses. The government and most firms are making payments on foreign-currency bonds. A run on banks that saw nearly 3trn roubles ($31bn) withdrawn came to an end, with Russians returning much of the cash to their accounts", says The Economist.

We continue posting the story explaining origins of crisis in Ukraine
Part 3.
Part 3.
Part 4. The Euromaidan
By the end of 2013, Viktor Yanukovich and the government realized that the EU was not going to pay for breaking economic ties with Russia and decided to suspend the process of signing the Association Agreement with the EU. The opposition to President Yanukovich presented it as a deception of the Ukrainian population, besides few people in Ukraine really understood the difference between the association and EU membership. All this lo a political crisis.
In November 2013, the mass protest action called Euromaidan took place in the center of Kyiv. Very soon it turned into sharply radical anti-presidential and anti-government riots. Th opposition, led by Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Vitali Klitchko and Oleg Tyagnibok, called for the impeachment of the president. Yanukovich was not dispressing the Euromaidan. Law enforcement agencies showed heroic endurance under the pressure of the “peaceful” protesters with Molotov cocktails and other weapons. It is not surprising that this resulted in even more bloodshed. In February 2014 the situation escalated. As a result of clashes with the police and shooting by “unknown” snipers 77 people died in Kyiv from February 18 to February 21, 2014.
On February 21, 2014 under pressure from the Western countries Viktor Yanukovich and the opposition signed the Agreement “On the Settlement of the Political Crisis in Ukraine”, which was supposed to pave the way for forming a “government of national trust”, for a constitutional reform and early presidential elections. The signing of the Agreement was witnessed by the Foreign Ministers of Germany and Poland – Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Radoslav Sikorsky, Head of the Department of Continental Europe of the French Foreign Ministry Eric Fournier. All of them put their signatures under the document.
According to the Agreement in return to the withdrawal of the law enforcement forces from Kyiv the opposition had to cease violence and hand over the weapons. However, Viktor Yanukovich was deceived. Under pressure from armed supporters of the Euromaidan he and the Verkhovnaya Rada speaker Vladimir Rybak were forced to leave the capital. Taking advantage of his absence the Verkhovnaya Rada appointed Aleksander Turchinov as an acting president. But according to the Constitution of Ukraine it could be lawful only in the event of early termination of Yanukovich’s presidency.

It is indicated that Russian forces said that on April 7 they captured the center of Mariupol, but the Ukrainian military retains positions in the south-west of the city. Russian forces are likely to complete the capture of Mariupol in the coming days," the institute said. Also, according to the forecasts of the Institute for the Study of War, Russian troops will continue to strengthen the Izyum-Slavyansk direction and try to advance to Slavyansk and through it to encircle Ukrainian forces.
