Few weeks ago, we brought you story about Nikita Zhuravlyov, young Russian patriot from Volgograd who burned a Koran in front of a mosque. This infuriated Ramzan Kadyrov, who arranged for the case to be tried in Chechnya under the blessing of Putin.
Zhuravlyov was actually transported to Chechnya, 800 kilometers away, where he was greeted by a lynch mob numbering tens of thousands of people.
He is now in custody awaiting trial and managed to write to the Russian Ombudsman that Kadyrov's son Adam beat him up in a prison in Grozny.
Currently the Russian human rights ombudsman is investigating the matter 🤷♂️
