Kanna! Remember this word, you will hear it more soon, thanks to some great people I had a chance to explore it personally some time ago and even had a small party 😁 and now it's on the most popular psychodelics podcast with all the details.

TLDR

Kanna is legal. At least now, and hopefully will if we don't screw up everything like we did with M D M A, L S D and most of the other substances, so keep it quiet use with respect.

Kanna is sometimes can be compared to m d m a, however it's not technically right. The most common thing is that it gives you the same kind of empathy feelings but it is very different in the way it works technically it's a Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor, but also affects other receptors

First, You don't have downs and suicide Tuesdays, since it's not only Serotonin reuptake inhibitor but also affects other receptors slightly so that it's overall action is way better for a brain.

Visible effect 1-2 hours but lasts for the rest of the day (4-6) hours but u feel it less. ( Like a coffee I would say)

Some people must take 2-3 times in order to make it work and receptors prime so that's why sometimes people don't get it in the first place.

Dont use it together with MAOI and SSRI (obviously)

M D M A is damaging cells and has a negative long term effects. Kanna is neurogenerarltive.

Nevertheless I highly recommend to listen to the whole podcast the discussion itself is very exciting.

COVID, WAR, RECESSION, can you find a better time to invest in mental health? ;)

“When we looked at the data, we said, ‘This is a game changer’,” Schlidt said. “That began a long exploration of meeting people and getting to know the academics. We saw the COVID-19 pandemic as a mental illness wave. That’s panned out and you’re seeing a renewed focus on mental health care.”

This is what I call perfect story where AI Security and Psychodelics are almost met together in one place

AI-driven fungi recognition app misleaded poor guy to eat deadly Amanita phalloides. The story might be even more crazy If that would be Amanita Muscaria and if it was investor who denied to invest into security for AI 🤡 https://arstechnica.com/science/2022/10/ohio-foragers-are-accidentally-poisoning-themselves-with-lethal-mushrooms/
Better now then never, last month I've enjoyed this podcast about Xenobots, i was so excited to see this topic on Lex podcast and to know that we will soon hear about Xenobots 4. The reason is that i gave a short talk about this topic a while ago and can now say "hey I knew it before it became trendy"🤪. Ok, jokes aside, this is definitely one of the greatest and insightful conversation about biology and Cells in particular.

Following regulations in USA for some time but still curious why Colorado became a Psychodelics Mecca? Any thoughts?

This genetically engineered houseplant does the work of 30 air purifiers.

Great example of sustainable tech. Hope to see more startups like this instead of yet another fintech/nft bullshit.

"The process took four years of near-constant work, but in the end, the engineers managed to create a plant that can metabolize four major indoor air pollutants, including formaldehyde and toluene. The customized flora can even absorb certain VOCs, like the carcinogen benzene"

I haven't thought I'll post any reviews, but I've realized that I've tried three different Kanna products and can somehow compare them.

1. Kanna extract from liftmode. The cheapest option. 20 doses for 37$. (2$per dose) but half of the amount (25 mg) is enough to feel happier and more empathetic. Not very tasty, and not very comfortable to use, you need to put it under the tongue and wait 10 min. The effect is medium to high. Results are Openness, Empathy, Happiness

2. Kanna chews from KA Emphatigenics. Most expensive 50$ for eight doses, so like 6$ per dose. Each chew has 30mg of high-potency extract. It's delicious gum. The effect I can describe as low to medium but lasts longer. More like Empathy and openness and somehow anti-depressing.

3. 10x Kanna extract from MCMystic bit more expensive than other extract, 15 eur for five doses. (3$per dose or 1$ if you sniff). It's a powder, so you can brew a drink or, better, sniff it. In this case, you will need at least two times less. 50-100 mg. If you sniff, the effect is really high (i mean comparing to other Kanna types, not Mef/etc), and you can physically feel a nice calming sensation and a bit of very light MDMA-like physical relaxation and warmth in addition to default Empathy and openness.

But it's currently quite subjective. I had different sets and settings. Obviously, sniffing substances makes the effect stronger. Also, chews are much tastier than raw extract.
