🚨Florida- Widespread Gasoline Contamination with Diesel

The stations affected by the contamination have been asked to stop selling gasoline until the fuel is replaced and the tanks are cleaned.

MY THOUGHTS:
I’m getting Maui vibes… right before a major tropical storm? Thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of vehicles affected, as well as home generators… stinks like sabotage.

Florida: Tropical Storm Idalia— Mandatory Evacuations

How we doing Florida?
What’s everyone doing to prepare?

• Hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of people without power for several weeks.
• Thousands of trees expected to block off roads, limiting evacuation chances
• Winds expected to be around 115mph
• High chance of Tornados
• Highway 19 & I10 expected to be closed.

Mandatory Evacuations ordered for the following areas as of 12:40pm ET, today.

Sarasota County
Sarasota County issues mandatory Level A evacuations. This includes the barrier islands, mobile and manufactured homes, and those living on boats.

Manatee County
Manatee County officials announced a mandatory Level A evacuation (including all mobile homes) and a voluntary Evacuation B evacuation effective Monday at 2 p.m.

Pasco County
A mandatory evacuation will be ordered for certain areas.

Citrus County
A mandatory evacuation has been ordered for all of those in Zone A, which encompasses areas west of U.S. Highway 19 and portions east of 19.
There is also a voluntary evacuation ordered countywide for those living in mobile homes, campers, recreational vehicles, tents, and structures not capable of handling Category 3 winds.
