Got an interesting, and fun, development in a case not many are following, but first I gotta give the back story.

In August 2019, Peter Stzrok filed a complaint against the DOJ and FBI for unlawful termination, infringement of due process rights, and violations of privacy. He sought reinstatement OR payments in lieu of reinstatement, back pay, payment for damages, attorneys fees, etc.

Basically, he says Trump is responsible for him being fired, his rights were violated by his text messages being published, and he wants his job back OR money that is roughly equivalent to what he would have earned over the past several years if he had not been fired.

Strzok wants a trial and he wants to depose a number of people, including Trump.

There's been some battling back and forth and on July 6th of this year a federal judge ruled that Trump can be deposed. An extraordinary, unprecedented (ie- precedent setting) development.

So, DOJ stepped in and tried to block it, citing seperation of powers and saying that the Circuit Court had abused their discretion in allowing the deposition of Trump by Strzok.

Today, the DC Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 that DOJ failed to show this abuse and their petition was therefore denied.

This means that Trump can be deposed in the Strzok lawsuit. The arrangements are for a two hour interview and he can only be asked about certain topics pertaining to the case. Should be pretty interesting.

Here's the fun part: the Lefties cannot process this. They do not understand why DOJ stepped in here as they are convinced the DOJ is now on their side and is going after Trump. This is a big change from just a few years ago when they thought DOJ was PROTECTING Trump from Mueller.
