Former President Trump hosted a fundraiser for his longtime ally and former attorney Rudy Giuliani on Thursday night, as the man once known as “America’s Mayor” struggles to keep up with his mounting legal bills.
The $100,000-a-plate fundraiser at Trump’s Bedminster golf club in New Jersey was expected to raise more than $1 million for the former New York City mayor, Giuliani’s son, Andrew, said. Trump has also committed to hosting a second event for Giuliani at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Andrew Giuliani noted.
