People say stuff about "rewiring" man's brain because they're not smart enough to think of anything but a computer as being the most intelligently designed object on the earth

Drunk enough that I'm not going to be able to explain it properly but if you are totally honest with yourself the brain of like a dog is way more complex than a computer. You can condition a dog to do stuff but you're not "rewiring" it. Once you plug in a cable it stays plugged in and stuff you know you don't have to "rewire" it all the fucking time and there's basically not a good parallel between replacing a cable after it fails in the brain-as-computer intellectual model of conditioning

Anyone who wants you to believe that watching brainrot a little too much in a day too many days in a week is similar enough to telling a dog no when it's trying to steal an egg out of a 5-gallon bucket is trying to harvest your ability to think for yourself

I'm sure there are plenty of people retarded enough to genuinely believe computers are the most complex thing we have, but I think it's less that and more people not having a better conceptual model of the brain and simply defaulting to something they know how to explain

The concept of wires doesn't even work with computers. You don't rewire a computer, you reprogram it. Like the whole point of a general computer is that you don't need to rewire it to do different things. People just lack vocabulary
