Update on DDoS Attack and Service Recovery

We would like to provide an update regarding the recent DDoS attacks that significantly impacted our infrastructure.

These attacks, characterized by their high volume and intensity, caused varying levels of disruption to our services despite our team’s diligent efforts to mitigate their effects.

Incident Details:
- Date of Incident: November 26, 2024
- Source Country: Iran
- Source AS Number: AS44224
- Source AS Name: IRANCELL-AS
- Volume of Malicious Requests: +234M requests

Our security team promptly identified and responded to the attack, successfully mitigating its effects and restoring all services to normal operation. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this incident may have caused.

Actions Taken:
In response to the recent malicious activity, we have implemented temporary access restrictions for all IP addresses associated with the IRANCELL-AS ISP (AS Number 44224). As a result, users of this internet service provider in Iran will be temporarily unable to access our services.

What Happened Three Days Ago?

We value our users greatly and consider them partners in the v2Line ecosystem. Therefore, we believe in keeping you informed about recent events.

Three days ago, Cloudflare unexpectedly suspended all our domains and networks without prior notice, violating its own policies and regulations regarding sanctions. This action resulted in the disconnection of all users from Cloudflare's edge servers.

Nonetheless, the v2Line technical team swiftly designed new algorithms to address and replace the issue. These algorithms are currently in the testing and final review phase.

Once the testing and security processes are complete, all proxies will be made available again.

We sincerely apologize for the service disruption caused by this unforeseen event. 🙏
