Assignment #5: Design a simple experiment to demonstrate blind spot in retina. Also explain why we don’t perceive blind spot in our natural vision.

In the first session after Eid (Yekshanbe, 19 Farvardin), Amir Farzmahdi (a brilliant PhD student of cognitive neuroscience in IPM) will be an invited lecturer to speak about Deep Neural Networks and Human Vision. This would be an interesting session, and it is highly recommended.

طبق صحبت های انجام شده امروز سر کلاس، امتحان میان ترم بصورت closed-book و امتحان پایان ترم بصورت open-book برگزار خواهد شد. در امتحان میان ترم، حدود ۶-۸ سوال مفهومی از مباحث ارائه شده داده خواهد شد که شما پاسخ آنها را در ۲ ساعت به فارسی خواهید نوشت. دو پیشنهاد ۲۸ فروردین و ۹ اردیبهشت برای تاریخ امتحان میان ترم مطرح شد. لطفا با ارسال ایمیل به حسین رفیع پور به یکی از این دو تاریخ رای بدهید تا تاریخ دقیق بر اساس رای بیشتر انتخاب شود.
