Often it’s just easier to say yes to everything, because then you don’t have to deal with the feelings that come with saying no to something or the fear of missing out. Or the fear of burning a bridge or hurting somebody’s feelings. It keeps you constantly busy, so you don’t have time to think about anything else. I feel like I’m pretty good at saying no now. Actually, that’s a lie. It’s a total lie. But I’m better at it than I used to be.
