"Harry", the CEO of the Vtuber agency, NEXAS, released an essay talking about why the project failed. He does a lot of deflecting and generally does not acknowledge the elephants in the room, downplaying his own mis-steps. Interesting read though. I'll provide the English translation in a Rentry.
