This is why you should never trust freelance nigs at face value. Her editor lied straight to her face that he would have the project done and that everything was okay, but he never did any of the work. He only completed a fraction of the editing and completely sabotaged Nyana's concert. Up until the day of the concert, he was still saying he would have everything done which was just a bold-faced lie. In the real (corporate) world, this would be grounds for legal action. If the company I work for hired consultants that didn't deliver on their contractual obligations and only finished developing 15% of an application by the deployment deadline, we would threaten litigation. It's mind blowing how so many of these people are such lying scumbags. You hear from vtubers all the time that an artist, rigger, editor, etc stood them up or scammed them. The reason why they are freelance is because they are incapable of working in the real world and would be immediately fired once the company realized they were trash.
