الان داشتم یک محیط VDI که در فاز PoC بود رو انتقال میدادم به محیط Production که باید ساختار رو هم آپگرید میکردم چون ساختار قبلی با ورژن 7.0 آپدیت 3 بود که در حین آپگرید vCenter سرور گفتم این تصویر رو بفرستم و توضیح رو بدم که:
وقتی شما می‌خواید سرور vCenter رو آپگرید کنید (آپدیت نه) در مرحله ۱۰ام از شما یک آی‌پی آدرس موقت میخواد تا سرور جدید رو با اون آدرس موقت راه اندازی بکنه و بعد که تموم شد آدرس سرور ویسنتر به همان آدرس فعلی عوض خواهد شد.
یعنی در واقع بر روی سرور ESXi یک ماشین جدید با ورژن جدید ساخته میشه و تمامی اطلاعات از روی ویسنتر قدیمی آپگرید میشه روی ویسنتر جدید و‌ بعد که تموم شد آی‌پی ویسنتر هم عوض میشه به آدرس فعلی که هست و آدرس موقت آزاد میشود.

قبل از شروع به آپگرید هم مثل همیشه اول سازگاری ورژن‌ها با هم رو‌ بررسی میکنم که مطمئن شوم آیا میتوانم ESXi ورژن 7.0 آپدیت 3 رو هم روی ویسنتر 8.0 آپدیت 2 داشته باشم یا نه، چون باید ماشین های موجود هم مایگریت شوند.
قبلا در‌مورد این وب سایت هم داخل یک‌ ویدیو کاملا توضیح داده‌ام.
❌ اگر‌تمامی مراحل رو اصولی برید جلو در هیچ آپگرید، آپدیت و مایگریت به مشکل نمی‌خورید.
