I've got a few people who have been harassing me for weeks, months, and sometimes years.

What the think:

- One person thinks I'm the leader of a child sex ring and/or sex trafficking organization headquartered in Israel

- One person thinks I'm anti-semitic because I criticized the Israel government.

- One person thinks I've been harassing them for years (no idea who they are) and claim I've compromised their phone (?)

- One person thinks I'm a Democrat funded anti-America operation (?), despite this account being made when Donald Trump was in his first term as President and more our members being European

The reality:

I kind of felt bad because one of them was sending me massive paragraphs about how I'm harassing them, or something, and I'm making their life hell and they wish I was dead.

I just muted their account (I don't block people).

One day I randomly remembered them and checked the DMs. They were messaging me on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years, etc. They kept messaging me nearly every day, or every other day, for probably close to 2 years.

I totally forgot they existed and all that time they were chasing ghosts.

Crazy stuff, man. I'm just looking at pictures of cats.

Password security? It's not 1995. People know not to make shit passwords but they STILL do it. Why? Because they're lazy. On August 4th, 2025, APCS, Access Personal Checking Services, one of the largest organizations in the United Kingdom for performing "Disclosure and Barring Services" a/k/a background checks, determined its data has been compromised as a result of a 3rd party company named Intradev.

APCS works with over 19,000 organizations.

APCS is certified under the UK National Cyber Security Centre Cyber Essentials program.

APCS has stated the following:
- They don't know when it occured
- They don't know what was accessed
- They don't know if anything was exfiltrated
- They don't know the scope of the compromise

However, per the e-mail APCS has sent to customers, they believe data impacted includes:
- Basic personal information
- Passport
- Drivers License
- National Insurance details

APCS has asserted they're still investigating the matter.

BUT DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THIS. The United Kingdom NEEDS YOU to keep the kids safe by giving companies your drivers license and/or passport. They NEED to see your information so they can make sure you're sufficiently aged to view YouTube, Discord, Spotify, or Wikipedia. We NEED to keep the kids safe. Give these companies your sensitive information. It's totally safe.
