⚡️Statement by the Turkish Ministry of National Defence on the Neutralization of Another Ballistic Missile in Its Airspace:
A ballistic munition launched from Iran and entering Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO air and missile defence assets deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Some debris from the munition fell onto vacant land in Gaziantep. There have been no casualties or injuries.
Türkiye places great importance on good neighborly relations and regional stability.
However, we reiterate that any threat directed at our territory or airspace will be met with all necessary measures, taken decisively and without hesitation.
We remind all parties that heeding Türkiye’s warnings is in everyone’s interest.
