Strong foundations come from practice and peer learning, just like it used to be on StackOverflow. so yeah… I started Flutter a while ago, but honestly, I’m still a learner . After breaking a bunch of apps and Googling way too much, I decided, ‘you know what? Let’s start from scratch and actually learn this properly.’ So here I am, diving back in, making mistakes, crying over widgets, but slowly (very slowly) turning into someone who might one day know what they’re doing ...

It’s true though .. sometimes holding on to the wrong people is like waiting for a month that won’t move you forward.

Is 9–5 really good for us developers, especially in Ethiopia? Honestly, I don’t think so. Here’s why: you wake up early, pack your stuff, and line up for taxis .. usually two if you’re in Addis. By the time you reach the office, you’re already drained. Then comes lunch, and before you know it, it’s 5:00 and time to head back home through the same stressful commute. The funny part? They’ll still expect you to continue working once you’re home. So it makes me wonder why even be in the office if I’m not getting real guidance or support there in the first..
