🚀 Doja Cat and JBL launch limited edition headphones and NFTs

The famous American rapper Doja Cat, in collaboration with JBL, an audio equipment company, has released her second NFT collection "Fresh Fruit by Doja Cat x JBL".

The collection is a series of JBL exclusive 3D headphones NFT designed by Doja Cat. NFT owners will get early access to JBL products and events, will get tickets to JBL LIVE! 2022, will be able to take part in AR simulations and much more.

There are 4 levels of NFTs: green, gold, diamond, and platinum. Each of them gives owners different privileges. The NFT collection will be available exclusively on OneOf and eBay.

☄️ Amazon among five companies to develop a prototype digital euro for the ECB

The European Central Bank (ECB) has announced the selection of five new partners to support the development of a digital euro prototype.

Each of the selected companies will take on a different role in prototyping. Among them is Amazon, which will be responsible for the development of e-commerce payments under the project.

⚡️ Puma launches NFT sneakers in its own metaverse

The well-known brand of sports shoes Puma announced the launch of its own metaverse with virtual sneakers.

The collection and at the same time the metaverse was named Black Station, after the first Puma boutique opened 20 years ago.

The collection will include exclusive NFTs with limited edition physical sneakers. These include Nitro NFRNO and Nitro Fastroid, linked to Puma's recent Nitropass NFT release.

Nitropass NFT owners will receive two NFTs, one tied to real sneakers and the other to virtual ones. They will be able to pick up their real sneakers at the FUTROGRADE show.

In total, the Puma metaverse will open three portals for users, one of them will serve as an entrance to the NYFW digital show.

🚀 Sorare will release an Ethereum-based NFT basketball game in partnership with the NBA

Sorare, a well-known web3 startup, plans to launch a licensed NBA platform.

They already has several successful sports-themed projects, such as the best-selling baseball and football games.

The game will allow fans to collect unique athlete cards, exchange them, create their own team, receive additional content from NBA Top Shot and NBA The Association, and receive rewards in the form of NFT and ETH.

At the start, the player will be given a set of cards for free, which cannot be sold. The NFT game is planned to be launched by the beginning of the upcoming 2022/23 season.
🚀 Fortnite Creator's Epic Games Store Launches First NFT Game

Epic Games, the creators of Fortnite, recently added the first NFT game to their Epic Games Store. It's called Blankos Block Party.

The Play-to-Earn game is free to play. It will include a set of collectible digital vinyl toys called "Blanco", which are NFTs.

Blanco will be purchasable, upgradeable, rated and tradeable within the gaming ecosystem. Previously, Blankos Block Party was only available through the website of its creators, Mythical Games.

In June of this year, the NFT game company announced that the game already has more than a million users.

⚡️ MyMetaverse firm implements NFTs into its Minecraft and GTA 5 servers

Metaverse-focused firm MyMetaverse has integrated non-fungible tokens into its own Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto 5 game servers.

Earlier, Mojang Studios, which developed Minecraft, said that it "does not support or allow" the integration of blockchain technology and NFT into the game.

MyMetaverse was able to implement NFT on their own servers without violating the Minecraft license agreement. NFTs created by them can be used in different games.

MyMetaverse CEO Simon Kertonegoro explained that “these different games see NFTs on users' wallets and provide them with different benefits. In Minecraft it's a sword, in GTA it's a car, in Infinity Realm it's a house."

Kertonegoro also announced that this is how they want to show Mojang that NFT integration can benefit players.

🚀 Argentinian airline Flybondi will start selling tickets in the form of NFTs

Argentinian low-cost airline Flybondi plans to use blockchain technology in its operations. They will issue tickets in the form of NFTs.

Blockchain company TravelX participated in the implementation of the idea. Their solution will allow Flybondi customers to auction, sell, transfer, gift or exchange NFTickets through a peer-to-peer system on TravelX up to three days before the flight.

Tickets can be paid for with USDC stablecoin through the Binance Pay payment service. In the future, the list of stablecoins is planned to be increased.

⚡️ AC Milan partners with blockchain game MonkeyLeague

The Italian football club AC Milan has become a partner of the MonkeyLeague game, developed on the basis of the Solana (SOL) cryptocurrency blockchain.

As part of this partnership, it is planned to release exclusive NFTs dedicated to AC Milan, hold esports competitions and organize promotional campaigns.

On October 6, MonkeyLeague will hold an auction on the MagicEden marketplace, where the first 16 NFTs of AC Milan player monkeys will be sold. In addition, one unique token from this collection can be won by participating in the contest announced on the blog.

Also, those who wish will be able to compete with each other at the Monkeying Around tournament, which will begin on September 30th. The prize fund of the competition will reach $30,000.

🚀 The European Commission will create an automated platform for collecting information from the Ethereum blockchain

The European Commission has opened a new tender to explore ways to automatically collect data about DeFi activity on the Ethereum network online. Applications for participation are accepted until December 1.

The focus will be on automatically collecting data directly from the blockchain to monitor the activity of DeFi projects online.

The pilot program is designed for a minimum of six months and is estimated at approximately €250,000.

🧙‍♂️Warner Bros. Launch Lord Of The Rings NFT Experience

The project was created in partnership with blockchain company Eluvio, which in August 2021 closed a $100 million Series A funding round.

The auction started on October 21st. Warner Bros. offered 999 ultra-rare tokens at $100 and 10,000 NFTs at $30. The latter can be of common, unusual and rare quality.

Each NFT contains the director's cut of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring in 4K, additional photos and videos from the set, interactive galleries and other bonuses.

Vice President of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Jessica Schell told Variety that the WB will consider further NFT projects in the Lord of the Rings franchise after evaluating the success of the first initiative.
