Для этого в прошлом месяце Налоговое управление провинции Чжэцзян объединилось с отделением Центрального народного банка Китая в Ханчжоу, чтобы «активно изучить разработку решений для уплаты налогов в цифровых юанях».

⚡️ The UK’s High Court has recognised NFTs as “legal property”
It seems that NFT theft will now be considered a real crime, and the victims of these thefts will be protected much stronger than before. For the first time in court, NFTs were recognized as property, which means they received access to legal protection.
In March 2022, Lavinia Osborne, founder of Women in Blockchain Talks, initiated a lawsuit in the UK High Court. She stated that two digital works from the Boss Beauties NFT collection were stolen from her online wallet.
Now, at the beginning of May, a judge finally issued an injunction against accounts in Ozone Networks (the NFT marketplace OpenSea is hosted there). The decision was made to freeze assets and force OpenSea to disclose information about the two account holders who now hold the NFT.
Now that the courts have recognized that NFTs are property, token holders will be confident that if their NFTs are stolen, they will get protection.

⚡️ Americana’s chip that turns physical objects into NFTs
Americana Technologies came up with a startup which idea is to allow brands and creators to turn physical items such as streetwear, collectibles, cars and works of art into NFTs.
The main product of the startup is the NFTA Universal Chip, which can be attached to a physical object and link this object to the blockchain, writes TechCranch.
The creators describe their idea as an opportunity to approach any object (for example, an artist’s painting hanging on the wall), scan it with your phone and, in one click, see the entire history of its presence on the Internet and the history of its ownership.
The NFTA Universal Chip that will help record this information, will also allow the authenticity of an item to be proven, and create a way for the item's author to receive royalties each time it changes hands.

⚡️ Starbucks to create a platform based on Web3 and launch NFT Collection
According to a post on the Starbucks blog, the company plans to release its own range of NFTs in the near future, the ownership of which initiates community membership, and "allows for access to exclusive experiences and perks".
The first Starbucks plans to implement NFT were announced by the company's CEO Howard Schultz at a meeting in early April, but now they are becoming more specific. Starbucks has published an entire blog post on the topic of NFT and Web3 in the future of the company.
In addition to the NFT collection, the company mentioned a full-fledged “Starbucks Digital Community Web3 platform”, possibly related to mobile payments in the store.
On their blog, Starbucks writes that they want to create a global digital community that will be centered around coffee, but in the future will expand to other areas, such as art, music, books, etc.
According to a post on the Starbucks blog, the company plans to release its own range of NFTs in the near future, the ownership of which initiates community membership, and "allows for access to exclusive experiences and perks".

The gallery will be accessed through virtual reality headsets and desktop computers. It is not yet known whether the Vatican will sell some of the work as NFTs.
Through this gallery, the Vatican hopes to "democratize" art, making it more accessible to people around the world, regardless of their budget or where they live. The Vatican Museums now hold over 800 works of art, including works by Michelangelo, Raphael and Vincent van Gogh.

Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced that the platform is going to start testing NFTs this week. For now, the feature will only be available to a group of users selected by Instagram and will include:
• Support for Ethereum and Polygon (with support for Flow and Solana coming soon);
• he third-party wallets Rainbow, MetaMask and Trust Wallet (Coinbase, Dapper and Phantom coming soon);
• The ability to display NFTs in the main Instagram feed, Stories or in messages — people who are part of the test can now share NFTs that they’ve made or that they’ve bought.
Details about the NFT will be displayed similarly to tagged profiles. Clicking on the tag will display details such as the name of the creator and owner.
In the future, the company plans to add “similar functionality” to Facebook and possibly to other Meta apps. It is also planned to roll out more NFT-related features, but first they want to get some early feedback.

The NFT was developed by digital art creator Musketon. Puma boots were not chosen by chance. In these boots, Sergio Aguero scored a goal at a historic moment. The new boots are imprinted with the innoscriptions “93:20” and “Aguerooooooooo!”.
Designed with the same color palette as the original PUMA V1.11 football boots, the PUMA UltraFootball will be sold as NFTs. Sales will start on the NFT MakersPlace trading platform from May 13th.
The collection includes a limited edition of 120 pairs in total, and its release is a very important event for Manchester City and Puma.

A total of 1,000 NFTs were issued, 975 of which were named gold. The price of each gold NFT was $5,000. The remaining 25 "Fire" NFTs were worth $25,000 each.
Of the 25 owners of Fire NFTs, the team CEO was to be selected. However, Snoop Dogg and Gary Vee decided to buy all 25 of the team's Fire NFTs to secure their position.
Fire NFT owners will have special benefits, such as being able to call up and discuss ideas and strategies with their team, judges, and league founders.
This is quite an innovative initiative. For the first time, fans have been able to own a share of their favorite team through the purchase of the NFT.

The world's most popular NFT marketplace, OpenSea, decided to launch Seaport — Web3 marketplace protocol for “safely and efficiently buying and selling NFTs.”
OpenSea presented it on May 20. Seaport takes a different approach to the standard NFT trading model, facilitating the transaction between the seller and the buyer.
OpenSea does not control or manage the Seaport protocol. All developers, content creators, and collectors will be able to use the new decentralized protocol.
Many users have not yet fully understood the essence of the new protocol, but it looks like it will allow NFT bartering.
