MoonBeam (Layer 1) 정리 - Polkadot위에 있는 EVM Smart Contract를 쓸 수 있게 만들어져 있음. 다만 Polkadot위에 만들어져 있기 때문에 RPC substrate을 이용한다는점이 이더리움과의 제일 큰 차이점. RPC substrate으로 인해 이더리움과 다르게 Account Balance도 다양하게 존재한다(Frozen, Reserved등으로 스테이킹이나 투표 같은 행위를 했을때 Account내의 자산 동결이 가능하다).

Hasai XYZ - 새로 나온 NFT Lending Platform. Bluechip NFT(cryptopunk, BAYC, MBAYC, Pludgy Penguins...)만 담보로 잡아주는 보통의 NFT Lending과는 달리 '모든 NFT'를 담보로 한 랜딩이 가능하도록 하겠다는 것이 차별점. NFT Creator들이 자신의 컬랙션을 Lending할 수 있게 된다(enable permissionless lending pools)고. 프로토콜의 자세한 아키텍쳐는 본 다이어그램에서 확인 가능.

ETHIndia 2022 was the largest ETH hackathon held so far. Over 2K attendees from 300+ cities gathered at the event. The hackathon received 21K+ applications and resulted in the submission of 450+ projects across different sectors. 

Here are some of the interesting trends that Jongho Daniel Park from Hashed and Deep Gandhi from Hashed Emergent uncovered out of the projects built at the hackathon.

➡️ Account Abstraction: AA tops with 10+ projects. Through AA, all accounts on ETH would be able to initiate transactions and create contracts. This opens up creative use cases such as multi-sigs, social recovery, multi-call txns, spending limits, sub-accounts.

➡️ MPC based wallets: MPC wallets, on the other hand, divide private keys into several pieces, known as ‘shares’ leading to better recovery mechanisms.

➡️ Metamask Snaps: MetaMask Flask enables devs to have their own set of customization. Using Metamask Snaps, devs can add new APIs to MetaMask, or modify existing functionality using internal APIs.

➡️ Leveraging India Stack: India has a unique stack of open APIs. Devs can build a more native experience by integrating UPI for crypto payments or AADHAR for verification to start with.

➡️ ZK Tech: ZKP allows individuals to verify their identity and reputation without revealing personal information. It is efficient for membership and governance in decentralized communities and organizations while preserving anonymity.

➡️ Dynamic NFTs: While traditional NFTs are static and unique objects, dNFTs can change in response to external events. This can lead to many creative use cases in categories such as customer loyalty, real world asset tokenization, among others.
 
➡️ Decentralized Social: The open social stack is a set of protocols that foster the creation of decentralized socials. Many devs were particularly seen building applications on top of the open social graph of Lens Protocol.

Silvergate reported that they sold assets to cover the $8.1b run they faced during the collapse of FTX. The loss? $718mm - exceeding the banks total profits since 2013 (WSJ).SI shares squeezed up almost 28% during Wednesdays session and now down trading -40% in the premarket.

A bankruptcy judge ruled that Celsius customers had turned over control of their assets and that the Earn deposits are part of Celsius' bankruptcy estate. This is a upset to customers who were hoping to recoup some of their money, but leaves Celcius with around $4.2b in crypto in their Earn product (Coindesk)

SOL retraced its gains yday, currently trading $13.14. SOL funding rate has been extremely volatile reaching close to -100% overnight and currently -64% annualized. Desk has been considering trades to monetize on this steep negative funding - reachout to the desk for details

미국의 핀테크 업체 Plaid가 컨설팅 업체 Accenture와 함께 내놓은 Embedded Finance에 대한 리포트. 앞으로 모든 앱에 금융 관련 기능이 SDK 형태로 들어간다는 것을 전제로 많은 핀테크 회사들이 그런 금융 서비스 모듈을 개발중인데 Plaid는 한국의 토스나 은행권의 오픈뱅킹처럼 미국 내 시중은행 계좌에서 돈을 빼올 수 있는 모듈을 개발하는 업체. Plaid 모듈을 붙이면 앱이나 웹서비스들이 미국 내 개인들의 계좌에서 돈을 실시간 계좌이체로 빼와 충전을 시키거나 구매를 시킬 수 있음. 일종의 집금 SDK라고 보면 됨.

크립토 대출업체 Genesis, 채굴업체 Foundry, 미디어 Coindesk, 운용사 Greyscale 등을 소유한 미국 Web3 재벌 DCG에 대해 미 동부 검찰청이 조사중. 미국 내에서 오직 뉴욕주에만 있는 크립토 전문 라이센스인 BitLicense를 보유하고 있는 Gemini 거래소가 고객들에게 제공하고 있는 크립토 운용상품 Gemeni Earn은 Gemini에 돈이 들어오면 이를 Genesis가 받아 굴린 후 상환하는 구조. 그 과정에서 Genesis 부도로 현재 9억 달러 빚을 지고 있어 결과적으로 뉴욕주 주민들에게 피해가 발생. 이로 인해 뉴욕 검찰이 기소할 근거가 생김. Greysacle이 장내에서 유통중인 크립토 신탁 상품은 부도 위험에 따라 57%~77%의 높은 괴리율로 거래중.
