Meme coins: the joke that turned into an economy

👁 Meme coins began as an experiment but evolved into a phenomenon with a total market cap over $57B. Their power isn’t in technology but in virality, community, and attention.

Meme tokens don’t promise anything, don’t solve problems, and often have no product — yet they create a sense of belonging and fuel massive liquidity waves.

Memes have become Web 3.0 fuel: attention = liquidity. Solana’s 2023–2025 growth was largely driven by meme coins.
