This robot was programmed to clean up the hydraulic fluid that was keeping it alive. The creators programmed it to be able to have a “happy dance” when it was doing a good job. In the beginning, the robot had an easy time cleaning up the relatively small leak and so spent a lot of time happy and dancing for the crowds, however this only acted to increase the rate of the guild spilling until in its last few years the robot had no time to dance and was frantically trying to scoop up the fluid to survive.
When the robot finally ran out of fluid in 2019 and died, it was revealed all along that the robot was operated by electric servo motors and not hydraulics. Meaning it worked itself to death after being mislead into a fear that caused no actual danger or problem to the robot.
