So last night I tried to record some footage. everything seemed perfectly fine... until I played it back to make sure it was all ok. It was NOT ok. It turned the audio into bass boosted earrape. The kind you expect of obnoxious youtubers. So I had to throw that out too. This has no longer become a game, it has become a war that I'm determined to win by any means nessecary.

Even if I have to use OBS. I will have every chapter recorded even if it kills me

Recording again right now... not skipping any cutscenes.

There are a lot of italian americans in this game. I always liked the way they talk.

... yep, steam recording didn't work. That's it. Time to cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. I'm going to just use OBS.

Ok, so I recorded some footage with OBS just to test it. And aside from a few loss of frames, it works. Alright, game, you mess with the dragon, you face its teeth!

Got a nice big chunk of footage. Audio is all good. Video is all good.

Where steam recording failed, OBS succeeded.

I had a bunch of Beat Hazard footage, and steam's video recording wrecked the audio.

So when I put the footage through Handbrake, the audio comes out fine!?
