Printer season is officially over. My sonichu-level bad luck just ended the season not just with a ruined vat film, but my worst nightmare: A RESIN LEAK. The LED screen in the back is completely destroyed.

I learned how to clean the screen. Whoop-de-do. The vat is still ruined, and every time I try to change the film in one of those, the screws just dance or don't move at all. Printer season. is. over. I just want to put this stuff away, air out the shed, paint what I have printed, and not deal with this until next year. All of my bad luck has taken all joy out of printing this year.

It was that nativity ornament. Because it had a big pointy star on the top, and because it was being printed upside down, it must have been pressed against the film until it punctured. Never print anything pointy with the pointy parts facing the film.

I may have been a little hyperbolic about the printer being "destroyed." It is not. It is smudged, which is still bad, but can be remedied. It's not like more terrible resin spills.

I found an old pixel art experiment in my folders.

I found another long forgotten project. There's a story with this one: I played Civ V at the time. It was a modded run so I was playing the True Capitalist Army (lead by the man they call ghost) and I was at war with Arabia. One of their medieval/crusades era lancers managed to take out one of my Apaches and I said "I have to immortalize this moment."

I found what I was looking for, but I think I can improve on it!

I gave the original failed Spookyposter bust to my mom. But apparently it was destroyed by a squirrel. Cruelly decapitated. (She lets squirrels in her gazebo to get peanuts) Looks like it needs a little rubber cement
