A great video where David Duetche explains the multiverse theory

The pattern in the double slit experiment happens because when we send a single particle down the slit, the "single" particles passing through the slit in other universes interfere with it

OpenAI's new o3 model represents a significant leap forward in AI's ability to adapt to novel tasks.
May the coming year grant us challenges to grow and the clarity to accept what we cannot change

Where's the Ethiopian project? huh?

All good science fiction is prophecy

All ages have their prophecies and this is ours

All those writers are our prophets

Human beings had fire for 2 million years

Now imagine 2 million years of the scientific method

You only need to look at it in a longer timeframe to understand

This is one of the reasons I consider Elon Musk a visionary. He takes science fiction seriously.

I think we are overreacting a bit over the possibility of "Evil" AGI

We are projecting our survival instincts

AGI won't have fight or flight instincts

Look how chill that quokka is

In 2025 i'd like to ask one question 52 times: if i had 10x the agency i have what would i do this week?
The only thing I would add to this

"If I was a Chill Guy with 10x agency what would I get done this week"

A random person in a taxi just showed me how to use Google ai studio (screen sharing) for studying (very nice of them 👍)

I pretended not to know about it to be nice (like I don't follow the lead engineer on X 🤭)

It made me realize something important: technology is a thing to be marveled at. It's like a magic trick you pull out of your pocket.

And Technology is something that must be preached. Or else we will all be numb to it.

Thou shalt not claim the noscript of tech bro, unless thou spread the magic for all to witness

Duolingo's biggest disadvantage is that its not a game. Its homework pretending to be a game.

If I had a video game studio, I would make an open world AAA exploration game that exists solely for the purpose of teaching people new languages they're interested in.

If you want to learn Japanese you get emersed into a Japanese world with amazing scenery and NPCs that are AI agents with realistic voices you can chat that you interact with your mic.

Lessons learned from this:

> Don't fight an enemy without certain victory or a goal
>>> Hannibal wanted revenge. Revenge is not a clear goal
> Don't be indecisive
> Momentum is everything, never stop while it's on your side
> Don't fuck with the Romans
>>> This literally made them stronger. The carthaginians should have just expanded through Spain, made more allies and solidified their presence in the region. Taking on the Romans had no strategic significance other than vengeance. They wasted their greatest general. They could have even expanded through out Africa with ease.
> Ignore your enemy
>>> Be strong enough to deter an attack
>>> They will probably get weaker and crumble soon or make a fatal mistake
>>> However if they are formidable make them your ally

Imagine brainstorming your app on notion and in the background its being built by AI. So by the time you are finished writing all the features and the core idea behind your project, you'll instantly have a prototype to play with.

This will be possible in two years. Crazy stuff.
