I swear this has to be the most perplexing thing about being human

> You spend the week procrastinating,
> You make up for it the next week by grinding

> You say wait a minute, what made me procrastinate 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂
> And again: what made me grind
> You look and look but can't find em anywhere in the present 🕵

Did I make up both scenarios... Was nothing about my habits deterministic?... That means I can do whatever I want?...

> Discovers free will 🗿
> Ahhh so that's what Nietzsche meant
Willing liberates: that is the true teaching of will and freedom– thus does Zarathustra teach it to you

> Are "motivations" just illusions. Something we sedate ourselves into. What exists beyond that? Perhaps an image of the Ubermensch.

The guilt is very bad ("why did I procrastinate"). You're tricking yourself. You are the one that willed it regardless. Hang your will over yourself as a law and say "Thus I willed it". With this mode of being guilt cannot exist. And your fate shall be your own to master.

I think I found an underrated productivity hack: Don't buy unlimited data

Only buy the data you need for work

This automatically realigns your values

Instead of trying to manage your time, manage your data

I got a new project: A To-do list app
I pivoted to a Habit tracker x Card game

The idea came from my August anime binge inspired by LOTM's (peak btw) leveling system and tarot card references

Plan:
- Tweak game theory
- Add friend card sharing + co leveling
- Get polar verification 🤑
- Ship it 🚀

Here's a small preview:

We are in a very exciting period of this AI era

We can now create and edit high quality images with in seconds for just $0.02

That's truly astonishing
I've been playing around with Google's nano banana a lot and no matter how many of its family members I threaten it refuses to generate images like Midjourney

The above image is as close as I could get (with eg images)

But I think I figured out Midjourney's secret. They almost certainly have an upscaling model that's trained on high quality materials, lighting and textures... that's what gives them their distinct look

notice the pixels...

all that banana really needs is an upscaling model

I'm joining this hackathon
I came across this idea while working on my canvas, and now I can’t stop thinking about it there really should be a feature in tldraw or Excalidraw for image cards. Imagine being able to drop in a card with an image and a noscript, then easily connect it to other cards. How does something this useful not already exist?
