The Sahara was flooded after heavy rains - something that hasn't happened in about 50 years.

The rainfall flooded Morocco and Algeria for hours. The population of the desert was not prepared for the unique phenomenon - they report about 20 deaths.

On the plus side: groundwater reserves can be restored - previously it was impossible due to a drought lasting tens of years.

A Czech fisherman has caught the biggest catfish in the country's history - the giant fish was 2.64 meters long.

Famous fisherman Jakob Wagner spotted the underwater monster back in the summer, but the cunning catfish escaped into the depths. Since then, the fisherman has almost dreamt of catching this giant.

And now it's finally happened. Jacob pulled the catfish ashore and realized that the catfish was even bigger than all his previous catches. The catfish stretched 264 centimeters - 3 centimeters longer than the man's previous record.
