SPEAK AT MASK ORDER MEETING, BOULDER BOARD OF HEALTH;

On Feb. 14 at 5:30 p.m. the Boulder County Public Health Director and other BCPH experts will make recommendations to the Board of Health concerning Boulder County Public Health’s two mask orders currently in effect.

Public Health Order 2021-08 currently requires masks for all individuals age 2 and older in public indoor spaces, and Public Health Order 2021-07 currently requires masks for all individuals age 2 and older in school buildings, indoor childcare settings, indoor youth sports, and indoor youth activities and camps.

WAVES OF GRAIN CO-OP UPDATE

We hope you'll want to join Waves of Grain co-op, and perhaps even help us build the infrastructure, which is the stage we're in right now. Here's an update.

WHO WE ARE

-We're a group of freedom-loving volunteers, health and food lovers all, with experience creating food coops, nonprofits, and various businesses and enterprises.
-The core team is in Longmont but there's interest all over the Front Range. (Perhaps over time we can branch out other areas, or help you start your own local co-op.)

WHAT WE'RE TRYNG TO DO
-we're looking to create a clean/organic (pesticide-free), stable food ecosystem for the Front Range.

WHO ARE OUR SUPPLIERS
-We're committed to our local farmers and food makers, and and want them to know us, and us, them. We've reached out to 60ish local farmers, bakers, cheese makers, ranchers, you name it, and there are dozens eager to serve us.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
We need potential future members to help us with:

-Calling back all the farmers, cheese makers, bakers, grain growers, and so forth and finding out more about their products and businesses, and entering what you find out in our database.

- Incorporation -- choosing the right business structure and filing. (If you're a lawyer with this experience, even better) .

-Marketing and enterprise software - choosing, writing API integration for, and setting up our CRM/MMS (if you don't know what these are - don't worry; they're geeky aspects of online business. CRM is customer relations management; MMS is marketing management software.)

-Business or warehouse space -- finding a business in Longmont that will allow us to use their space one day a week for sorting, packing, and pickup of orders, during our startup phase (probably a year).

-Take our survey -- We'll have a Member Survey ready soon that we'll send out asking you what you're looking for in the "food shopping experience of your dreams." We hope you'll take a few minutes to tell us how we can serve you -- and as members, one another.

WHAT IS THE BIGGER PICTURE?
-Grow a new economy -- In addition to creating better food options and relationship between farmers, processers, and eaters, we're building a stable local economy. That will include a core of local folks with experience and training in farming and gardening to help out our farmers as needed. We're starting to get that organized in a barter system that has nodes all over the Front Range.

PLEASE JOIN THE BARTER EXCHANGE. Go to community-exchange.org , search for your local exchange, join, list your skills, and let us know you've done that. If you're a gardener, even better - we can help you get some of your food needs met by creating a local "urban food forest" in your neighborhood and sharing the work and produce between yourself and your neighbors.

11:00 am: Gather at Polis’ condo
11:20 am: Walk to Pearl Street Mall, head over to Broadway & Canyon for a

one-hour protest
Then: Head back to Pearl Street Mall and return to 17th & Walnut

🎆Requests:
Be non-violent in action and speech. Win people, don’t alienate.
Bring signs with big letters: especially: “No Vax Mandates.” Loud & clear.
Goal: Maximum exposure and focus

🎆Also:
People from other cities are welcome.
Our goal is maximum exposure of our message to the public. Bring noise makers like pots, pans, drums, plastic buckets, etc. to bang on. Signs should be big and readable.
We encourage people from other cities to either join us or to organize their own demonstrations. The more exposure, the better.

Trucker Freedom Convoy: Despite Arrests, We're Holding the Line | Townhall

At the direction of Canadian Dictator Justin Trudeau, Thursday night the founders and organizers of the trucker Freedom Convoy were arrested by authorities. 

Despite the arrests, the convoy is vowing to hold the line in Ottowa. They plan to continue their peaceful protest against vaccine mandates and other Wuhan coronavirus restrictions. Tonight, they far outnumber Castro Jr.’s Stasi.
