🚨“N.A.A.C.P. Sues Trump and Giuliani Over Election Fight and Jan. 6 Riot.”
They brought the suit on behalf of Rep Thompson of Mississippi, with other Dems expected to join.
It contends that Trump and Giuliani violated the Ku Klux Klan Act, an 1871 statute that includes protections against violent conspiracies that interfered with Congress’s constitutional duties; it also names the Proud Boys, and the Oath Keepers. It accuses Trump, Giuliani and the groups of conspiring to incite a violent riot at the Capitol, with the goal of preventing Congress from certifying the election.

Our fellow citizens are suffering from sea to shining sea. They are not so gradually experiencing what it feels like to live in a totalitarian country. Their basic human rights are being sacrificed for the benefit of a ruling elite focused as much or more on the good of other countries than America. They are beginning to quickly feel again what life is like when America is not put first.
During this period, we need to be reminded to be good to our fellow citizens. This “experience” will pass in due time and we will embrace America First and love our freedom in ways we have not seen for many decades. We will again know that we are a nation under God.
The residents of Texas are suffering right now as the weather and related issues are hitting them hard. I am glad many prepared in advance for such a calamity.
We need to keep ALL Texans in our prayers today and tonight as we continue to ask Almighty God to save our country. I know He will answer our prayers. Wait on the Lord.
