When I was a kid I learned about how so many people who had been innocent before then, told on their neighbors who were helping Jewish people hide from the nazis, told on their friends who did not believe in the nazi agenda, and worse, actually physically participated in enforcing nazi rule: Fascism, death, torture, and experimentation on humans. For those of you who have consumed content that suggests the Holocaust was not real: I have personally met and spoken to many survivors of the Holocaust. I have friends whose grandparents went through it. I believe that it was much worse than any of us have heard and that it was created but the same group of monsters who are being exposed now. Many of those stories were never told. Nobody lived to tell many of those tales. This year, we learned how propaganda works. Most people are not that hard to manipulate. And maybe it’s because the education system trains people to follow, not to think. Maybe it’s because our chemistry is messed with...But what will we do now?
