-Supreme Court rules 9-0 against warrantless searches by police and seizures targeting gun confiscation re enforcement of "red flag" laws.

-The case involved a person charged in a domestic dispute who had his guns taken.

-Justice Thomas wrote the 9-0 opinion.

-The Court was very hostile to the notion "probable cause" empowered such action.

-Thomas: "The very core of the Fourth Amendment's guarantee is the right of a person to retreat into his or her home and 'there be free from unreasonable governmental intrusion.'"
