As a young lad I deferred buying a house or investing much of anything because I was convinced that the housing market, and perhaps the whole economy, was going to collapse. I didn't believe I'd ever collect retirement or that money as we know it would even exist by the time I was 40.

Well... The economy did collapse a few times, and I barely noticed. In one sense it was good I wasn't over-leveraged. On the other hand I had no money or property.

We can all agree we need to kill economists with bullets to the head, but do you have the strength to believe we should kill amateur economists with a bullet to the gut?

Notice they have never culled wild game birds. Flocks of millions of birds carrying the avian flu go completely unchallenged.

But birds that affect our food supply and can control market futures, they get culled at government/corporate whim. Interesting!
