NASA FIRMS data picked up a large fire at the aircraft parking ramps at the airbase. F-16s are known to be stationed here, from which they fly to conduct bombing runs on Kursk Oblast.

Russian forces advanced west from their positions at the ruined Kostyantynivka - Pokrovsk highway overpass and entered the eastern part of Malynivka. They quickly pushed through the village, capturing the central and western parts, before further progress was made along the highway, forest plantations and eventually the residential area on the southern bank of the tributary of the Kazenyi Torets River.
Fighting is still ongoing for the western part of Malynivka, with Ukrainian forces maintaining a presence there. Russian forces were also able to capture treeline positions north of the village, as well as some trench fortifications.
