In the Khotin and Yunakivka directions, both Ukrainian and Russian forces have made advances, capturing various positions on a wide front.
Ukrainian forces advanced north along the tactical heights from their positions in the treelines east of the village of Oleksiivka, and entered the village of Varachyne. The settlement was cleared after a couple of days of fighting, with Russian forces withdrawing to the neighbouring village of Novomykolaivka. Ukrainian forces built on their momentum, capturing further treeline positions to the northwest, before using these to enter Novomykolaivka and gain a foothold in the southeastern houses. Currently, around half of the village remains under Russian control, while the rest is either in the grey-zone or controlled by Ukraine.
To the east, Russian forces advanced downhill from their positions northeast of Yablunivka, re-entering the village after a previous withdrawal, and gaining a foothold in the eastern houses. They then continued to push in a general southwesterly direction, slowly seizing the rest of the houses, and establishing full control over the settlement and adjacent forest again.
Further east, Russian forces continued their assault operations on the village of Yunakivka. After a lack of progress in the northern part of the settlement due to the level of damage the houses have suffered, they focused more on developing the western flank. Russian forces began pushing to the forest plantations and then the highway which resupplies the Ukrainian garrison stationed there.
Once positions were seized and consolidated in the forests and agricultural buildings south of the highway, they began pressuring the western defences of Yunakivka, slowly breaking through and capturing the outer-most houses. Despite fierce Ukrainian resistance and back-and-forth movement, Russian forces managed to press further eastwards, house-by-house, towards the village centre, while forces from the north resumed assault operations and squeezed the Ukrainians out of the rest of the northern streets. Now there is one united front against the rest of the village centre and southern part, which shortens the line of contact and simplifies future and ongoing assault operations.
In the east, Russian forces continued their efforts to expand their zone of control over the international border towards the village of Sadky, and made further progress in the forests, reaching the low-lying ground. Currently, attacks are being carried out on the southern flank, in order to outflank the Ukrainian defences in the forests northeast of Sadky, and complete the capture of the larger series of forests. Progress has been made here, with numerous new positions being captured.
To the southeast, new positions were assumed on the international border as a result of the advances in the forests.
+ ~17.10km² in favour of Russia.
+ ~4.60km² in favour of Ukraine.

In the Myropillya direction, Russian forces made new progress, recapturing the last section of Kursk Oblast south of the village of Guevo.
Following a series of unsuccessful Ukrainian attempts to cross the Psel River and enter the southern houses of Guevo, Russian forces resumed their attacks from the east, moving through the forests in the grey zone and getting behind the river to prevent any further crossing attempts.
They then secured the positions on the international border, while attempting to enter the village of Oleksandriya. All attempts were unsuccessful; however, the village is currently in the grey zone, with Ukraine holding their main positions in the village of Myropillya.
+ ~6.29km² in favour of Russia.

In the Kupyansk direction, both Russian and Ukrainian forces have advanced, capturing various new positions on both banks of the Oskil River.
In the north, Russian forces began expanding their buffer zone around the town of Dvorichna, which they use as a staging ground and forward deployment point for assault operations. They advanced north, west and southwest of the town, capturing the forest east of the village of Dovhenke, while making further progress in the larger forests directly west of Dvorichna.
South of the Nyzhnya Dvorichna River, Russian forces advanced to the forest plantations, seizing positions there and in the adjacent forests in the low-lying ground.
To the south, Russian forces re-established control over the rest of the village of Zapadane, which was previously in the grey zone due to a series of Ukrainian infiltration attempts. They also entered the small forest west of the village. Meanwhile to the north, Ukrainian forces counterattacked, entering and establishing control over part of the forest north of Zapadne.
In the south, closer to the city of Kupyansk, Russian forces continued assault operations in the village of Kindrashivka, capturing the southwestern streets and pressuring the remaining Ukrainian positions in the southeastern part.
East of the Oskil River, Russian forces resumed assault operations towards Kupyansk from the north after a series of failed attacks in late 2024, followed by successful Ukrainian counterattacks. They were able to make new progress in the Limansky forest, seizing new positions southwest of the village of Synkivka. Meanwhile, the grey zone expanded in Synkivka, as the level of damage makes it difficult to hold a permanent presence. Currently only the 2 northernmost streets are under Russian control.
+ ~12.39km² in favour of Russia.
+ ~1.84km² in favour of Ukraine.
