Reliable reports indicate that Russian forces advanced near Makiivka. Russian forces likely advanced from positions in the treeline above the purple polygon and gained a foothold in the two parallel treelines running north to south. They additionally likely captured around half of the agricultural buildings in the south of Makiivka.

To the north, one report stated that the Russians continued to advance on the northern flank and expanded their bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Zherebets river.

Large swarms of Ukrainian drones are apparently slowing down the Russian advance, likely also causing them to take higher casualties than they otherwise would. It is also reported that mercenaries, especially ones from Colombia are primarily mounting the defence in Makiivka, probably while the AFU defends the fields to the north and south.

Conflicting reports are coming out of the area west of Ukrainsk.

Pro-Ukrainian source Deepstate reported that Russian forces advanced in the northern yellow outlined area, capturing part of a treeline.

Pro-Russian source Divgen reported that Russian forces advanced in the southern yellow outlined area, capturing two conjoining treelines. If this is true, then it would put the Russians just 2.33km from the village of Tsukuryne.

Until two sources agree on the same thing, I won't add it to the map.

Geolocated footage indicates that Ukrainian forces recently advanced in Vovchansk.

Following a long period of stalemate in the city, Ukrainian forces managed to achieve a small advance in the south, specifically in the area of the Vovchansk Aggregate plant and the park.

Here, Ukraine advanced from positions, possibly to the east of the plant, and began to clear the Russian positions there. The AFU managed to recapture the entire plant in an unknown amount of time.

Previously, there were reports that Ukraine was conducting small troop concentrations in the southeastern buildings of the high-rise block known as "The Citadel", which may have been a prelude to this assault, or it could have just been to strengthen the defence of The Citadel.

The fog of war hangs so thick over Vovchansk, that it's practically impossible to track the movements of each side, and predict what is going to happen next, so I can't draw a definite conclusion to the question of where this attack took place from.

Meanwhile, Russian forces responded by shelling the new Ukrainian positions.

Israeli bombardment of Southern Lebanon

Several Israeli warplanes reportedly took off from airbases in different areas of the country. There might be a second series of airstrikes incoming.

They are ordered to:
1. Minimize movements within the area of the communities.
2. Avoid gatherings.
3. Control community gates.
4. Stay close to shelters.

Meanwhile in Ukraine, another Russian Geran drone attack is underway. ~21 Gerans are in the airspace of Ukraine right now. They are primarily targeting Vinnytsia and Cherkasy Oblasts, however the ones in Cherkasy will probably fly to Vinnytsia.

Meanwhile, there are a few on Kharkiv and Poltava Oblasts, while one is flying south of Kyiv towards Zhytomyr Oblast.

Mass evacuations continue across Northern Israel. Residents of the city of Safed are reportedly being evacuated too.

IDF: Following a situational assessment and in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines, it was decided that restrictions that were set yesterday (Thursday) on the communities of Merom HaGalil, Northern Galilee, Kiryat Shmona, Mevo'ot HaHermon, Yesud HaMa'ala, Hatzor, Rosh Pinna, Safed, Metula and communities in the northern Golan north of Katzrin will be lifted.

The guidelines published on the official Home Front Command channels must continue to be followed. The full instructions are updated on the National Emergency Portal and the Home Front Command app.

Safed was one of the places which was reportedly being evacuated.
