At the same time, Israeli aircraft are conducting extensive airstrikes on Southern Lebanon and the Beqqa valley in Northeastern Lebanon.

Well guys, it looks like Vuhledar isn't strategically important anymore. Just like Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Pokrovsk and many others.
But I seem to recall that when Ukraine was successfully defending the town and wiping out massive Russian columns, it was very important...
But no! Kursk is all we care about. The strategically important town of Sudzha will win Ukraine the war!
I really hate this community's attitude towards the AFU. Saying that certain places aren't important is incredibly disrespectful to those dying defending these towns. It is also entirely the Ukrainian command's fault that this town has fallen, as they launched the Kursk offensive and took the gamble.

Approximate situation on the ground in Vuhledar: Red = Confirmed Russian control Purple = Likely Russian control
Here's a close-up on the town.

Here's another map I made showing the gravity of the situation for Ukraine in Vuhledar.
The green represents the last two dirt roads leading out of the town, and as you can see, they both go through the grey zone (area between red and blue lines) at some point. Ukrainian forces have been effectively encircled here.

Geolocated footage indicates that over the past few days, Russian forces have continued their advance westwards from Ukrainsk.
Following the capture of the Selidovsky mine, Russian infantry advanced to the small Terykon (Industrial waste heap) and captured it. From there, they advanced using BMPs to the railway line, where infantry likely dismounted to capture positions in the windbreaks on either side of the tracks.
If you look at the footage from the area, you can see that the windbreaks are mostly intact and provide excellent cover from Ukrainian FPV drones and artillery. Around a week ago, I predicted that Russian forces would prioritise the railway line over other directions due to the cover that it provides, and then pan out to the north and south from there. It seems that this is indeed what Russia is doing. This way they will be able to advance south to Tsukuryne and north to Selydove, forming a southern pincer around the city.

At least 4 Russian Kinzhal hypersonic missiles have been launched over the past couple of hours. All of them struck the city of Starokostyantyniv in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, likely hitting the airfield there. In one case, the sirens sounded after explosions were reported, indicating a degradation in the Ukrainian radar system.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces made a significant advance in the direction of Myrnohrad.
Following the consolidation of positions and the prioritisation of the Ukrainsk front, Russian forces appear to have launched another series of offensive operations in the direction of the city of Myrnohrad.
As a result, they were able to seize the villages of Krutyi Yar and Krasnyi Yar, before advancing to and capturing positions in the eastern part of the village of Mykolaivka. Building on their momentum, instead of attempting to capture the rest of Mykolaivka (although it is possible that they were repulsed), Russian forces advanced to the two large trench fortifications southeast of the village of Promin, capturing both of them.
This now means that the last line of defence in front of Myrnohrad has been breached, and direct assaults on the city may commence in the near future.

Well-known Ukrainian blogger currently in Spain Anatoly Shariy stated that the Ukrainian Air Force lost four F-16s as a result of the surprise attack.

I'm not convinced that F-16's were hit by Russian missiles quite yet. There's a strong possibility (maybe like 75%), but part of me thinks that Ukraine isn't stupid enough to keep them at the most targeted airfield in the country. We'll see.

Update from the Sudanese Civil War:
The Sudanese armed forces have launched a series of counteroffensive operations in two directions over the past 24-48 hours. Let’s break down what we know:
In the Capital city of Khartoum, the heavy fighting broke out near the strategic “Al-Istritagia” site close to the Al-Muqrin area in western Khartoum following reports that the SAF managed to cross several bridges towards Khartoum, although the advisor to the RSF commander, Elbasha Tbaeq, said in a statement that these attacks were repelled. Smoke plumes were also seen rising from the vicinity of the armoured corps south of the capital. In the neighbouring city of Omdurman, SAF warplanes flew extensively over the city, conducting airstrikes on the “Al-Istritagia” headquarters in Al-Muqrin, Khartoum, which the RSF seized a few months ago.
Local sources also reported that heavy gunfire was heard and smoke plumes were observed in central Khartoum at the Arab Market, the army’s General Command headquarters, and near the army’s Signal Corps south of Khartoum Bahri. The SAF has been under siege in central Khartoum for months. The SAF also shelled RSF positions in Khartoum and Khartoum Bahri with heavy artillery from it’s positions in Omdurman, while the RSF responded by shelling positions north of Omdurman.
In the strategic city of Singa, in the Sennar state of Sudan, Local telegram channels affiliated with the Sudanese army reported that the SAF launched a ground attack on Singa which was captured by the RSF in July.
The assistant commander-in-chief of the Sudanese army had previously spoken about a comprehensive attack on all theatres of operations, by air and land, to destroy the RSF and its allied forces.
Meanwhile in Al-Fashir, Geolocated footage indicates that the RSF has continued to advance in the eastern part of the city, reaching the city centre. They were able to advance for ~390 metres down the B26 highway, and captured at least 1 SAF outpost. They are now getting very close to the mosque, and the city’s grand market, situated just 1.5km east of the 6th infantry division’s headquarters.
