Russian forces are reportedly continuing to advance in Toretsk city and have apparently reached the main Ukrainian stronghold in the form of the industrial zone.

Following the capture of the highrise buildings in the city centre, Russian forces reportedly advanced into the low-rise residential area and the three-story buildings, taking up positions just outside the industrial zone. They also reportedly seized two more highrise buildings to the north of the main advance.

Reliable reports suggest that Russian forces continued to advance in Tsukuryne and reportedly captured nearly half of the town.

Russian forces began attacking the town from three directions, with their main forces being concentrated down the railway line, punching through to the railway station where battles are reportedly ongoing.

Meanwhile, Russian forces also attacked into the south of Tsukuryne, likely capturing positions in the southern residential area. At the same time, new reports suggest that the salient formed in the east of the town has been mostly eliminated, with Russian forces now apparently fighting in the eastern residential areas after seizing the three-story buildings.

Ukraine is in a very precarious situation here, and it is likely that we will see a withdrawal to the western side of the railway line in the coming days. This will pave the way for future assault operations to the south in order to bypass Hirnyk.

Reports from reliable sources suggest that Russian forces continue to bypass the key town of Hirnyk and have advanced in the direction of Izmailivka.

The Russians appear to have decided on building on their momentum south of the St Basil mine instead of consolidating control over their positions, and have likely captured the treeline leading to Izmailivka.

They are now reportedly probing Ukrainian defences in the northern outskirts of Izmailivka using small groups of infantry. It's possible that in the future, Russian forces will advance into Hirnyk from the west while simultaneously attacking behind it to take the town into a pocket.

Russian forces have likely restarted assault operations Western Zaporizhzhia Oblast, reportedly capturing a number of treeline positions and advancing for ~2.8km.

These attacks occurred in the direction of the village of Mala Tokmachka. This advance - if true - also means that Russian forces have nearly captured the entire ridgeline that leads from Verbove.

Violence has flared up in the West Bank once again, but this time more than usual.

The Israeli airforce targeted a Cafe in the city of Tulkarm with an airstrike killing 20 people, including one of the leaders of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs brigades. In response to the airstrike, palestinian fighters from the Nablus battalion targeted the Awarta checkpoint (east of Nablus) with heavy gunfire, while palestinians targeted an Israeli checkpoint near the city of Tulkarm. Shortly afterwards, in what seems to have been a coordinated attack, the southern checkpoint in Qalqilya city was also targeted with heavy gunfire. A few minutes later, the Al Aqsa Martyrs brigades, the Rapid Response groups and Fatah announced a joint statement, in which they ordered a general mobilisation of all their fighters in the West Bank.

The Al-Jalama checkpoint near Jenin was then targeted with heavy gunfire a few minutes after the joint statement. An hour later, renewed gunfire was reported near the Taybeh amd Jabara checkpoints near Tulkarm, and near the settlement of Avnei Hefetz.

I have finally managed to set up a subnoscription system for my X account. By subscribing, you gain access to reports from conflicts other than Ukraine, as well as new deep dive analyses.

This is completely optional, and everything else Ukraine and Lebanon related will remain free.

That does unfortunately mean that live updates on events outside of Lebanon and Ukraine will no longer be live, and will switch to weekly summaries. I need a way to fund my work, as it takes a significant chunk out of my day.

I'm so grateful to everyone who has followed me and helped me get to a point where this is even possible. Thank you all so much!

Geolocated footage and reliable reports indicate that Russian forces have restarted offensive operations in the Kurakhove direction and have made substantial progress.

Firstly, Russian forces are now confirmed to have seized the village of Hostre, and the Selidivsky penal colony, as well as two long treelines to the northeast. This advance likely occurred a while ago but has only just been confirmed now.

However, in the most recent attack, Russian forces attacked with an unknown number of armoured vehicles along the railway line. seizing positions in the windbreaks on either side of the tracks. They were also able to reach the southern outskirts of the village of Oleksandropil.

Reliable reports also suggest that the Russians advanced from their positions in the windbreaks into the eastern residential area of Ostrivske, although this has not been visually confirmed.

Ukrainian drone operators responded by likely destroying a Russian tank and an Infantry fighting vehicle.

Reports from a Russian soldier on the ground suggests that Ukrainian forces conducted a counterattack in the Klishchiivka direction and eliminated the Russian bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Siversky Donets Canal.

Following reports of Ukrainian reinforcements arriving the village of Stupochky, the AFU reportedly pushed through the large, forested area and the smaller one to the north, capturing Russian positions. The forests here have been subjected to intense artillery barrages and FPV drone strikes from both sides, resulting in large parts of it burning down. This likely played a part in the possible Ukrainian advance.

However, it may also hinder Ukrainian consolidation and defensive efforts as much of the cover from Russian artillery and FPV drones will be gone. In fact, there are already reports that Russian forces are advancing across the canal once again, this time in a pincer movement, although it is unknown whether they have gained a permanent foothold. 2 Ukrainian soldiers from the 5th separate brigade have also reportedly surrendered so far.

Ukraine needs to mobilize 200,000 people by the end of the year to replace losses at the front and stabilize the situation, but due to corruption and poor health, only 20% of connoscripts mobilize.

Reports from reliable sources suggest that Russian forces have advanced in the direction of Kruhlyakivka and have captured new treeline positions.

Russian forces advanced down one treeline heading west before likely branching off to capture the adjacent one. This puts them just 730 metres from the road resupplying the northern salient, making it practically unusable for the AFU.

I expect that direct assault operations on Kruhlyakivka will start in the near future as the Russians try to reach the Oskil river.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces advanced west of Novohrodivka and have captured new Ukrainian positions.

Russian forces have advanced in two main directions here. In the north, they were able to enter the village of Lisivka and capture positions in the easternmost buildings, as well as capturing the treeline that leads into it. This treeline was likely used as a path into the village.

To the south, Russian forces made larger advances, capturing a Terykon, and a few nearby treelines. Two Russian armoured vehicles filled with infantry advanced around the Terykon, but were hit by Ukrainian FPV drones

Russian forces reportedly advanced into the northern outskirts of Selydove, taking up positions in the dachas. If true, this also means that they seized a section of the E50 highway.

The fact that the Russians have full control of the E50 highway up to here is going to play a major role in future flanking maneuvers around Selydove, as it significantly simplifies logistics for the Russians.

Russia conducted three FAB strikes (probably FAB-500s) on Vasyukivka (Northwest of Bakhmut). This comes as they reportedly began to probe Ukrainian defences in the village.

It is possible that these are in preparation of a ground assault, or they just targeted an unusually large gathering of Ukrainian soldiers.
