More explosions in Kryvyi Rih

UKMTO stated that they received a report of an incident 105 nautical miles northwest of Hodeidah, Yemen where a merchant vessel is no longer under command.

They reported that the crew has been evacuated to Djibouti and that authorities are investigating.

It is possible that this is a Houthi hijacking operation.

The free Syrian flag has been raised over Daraa, southern Syria by FSA fighters. It is reported that the city has fallen.

Clashes are reported at the SAA's military security branch in Suwayda city.

The battle of Homs has reportedly begun.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have made significant progress south of Kurakhove and have nearly cleared the entire salient there.

Most of this advance is old, including the advances through the fields in the north and the capture of the forest in the south, but a couple of days ago, Russian forces were able to break into Upsenivka, raising their flag over one of the agricultural buildings.

They were also able to capture Veselyi Hai. This means that the remaining Ukrainian formations in and around Hannivka have been encircled with no way of escape.

A short while ago, a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile was launched at Konotop district of Sumy Oblast. It most likely struck an open area as the mayor of Konotop reported that there was no damage to infrastructure.

New footage indicates that SAA forces have withdrawn from the towns of Al Thaala, Ad Darah and Mlaiharel Sharqiah, as well as the Thaala airport.

It's possible that they have fully withdrawn from this whole salient to new positions further north.

The FSA is reportedly within 22km of Damascus.

Russian forces have reportedly reached the outskirts of Dachenske and are attacking Ukrainian positions in the agricultural buildings. Battles are ongoing.

1 Tu-95ms aircraft took off from Olenya airbase in Murmansk Oblast. It is flying south in the direction of Engels-2 airbase in Saratov Oblast. This flight is probably for redeployment purposes.

Audible clashes are heard between HTS and the SAA in Homs.

The SAA seems to have left the strategic city of Palmyra in the eastern Homs governorate without a fight.

I think Assad's days in power are numbered

The question is, will there be a coup before Damascus falls. I think this is a possibility as the military increasingly sees their leader as incompetent. I mean, the advances in the past week have been crazy. The SAA went from very clearly having the upper-hand in pretty much every direction to being on the verge of collapse in all directions. This will have obviously dealt some major blows to morale. Parts of the SAA may take it out on Assad.

I guess time will tell.

The situation in the SAA-affiliated telegram channels is a bit reminiscent of many of the ultra Pro-Ukrainian channels. Clinging onto small pieces of hope and posting about every good thing that happens for their side, eg. every airstrike. Some are still denying the reality of the situation and how dire it is for the SAA.

Now I won't say that it's 100% certain that Assad will fall. Syria has been in similar situations in 2013 and 2016, but I will say that this does seem different.
